Wishbone is a family themed restaurant of comfort food big time! Great fried chicken, perfectly cooked and nice and has a nice and crunchy coating. I got the Chicken and Shrimp. Didn’t like the shrimp at all. It reminded me of Supermarket frozen fried shrimp - big no to that.

This Family owned Restaurant has been around since 1963. We always go there for the Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes w/ gravy. Wishbone is extremely consistent and amazing every time! Lots of seating, almost never have to wait! Staff is always sweet and attentive! Every table has honey if you like

Piping hot, completely juicy, and so flavorful. It’s like if the chicken from Popeyes (chicken that I like) was consistently good. I also highly recommend the equally juicy and delicious breaded mushroom.

Fried chicken was good, owner proud his chicken as the world best. But what really impressed me was chicken gizzards. It has a very crispy out shall, pretty much like KFC. Gizzard handle properly, not smelly. ill recommend having a half set of chicken gizzards if you want to try out.
I have been coming to Wishbone for almost 50 yrs! It has Never disappointed. I even come here for my Bday every year. Their chicken IS the best. But my favorites are the Chicken fried steak,dinner, & chopped Sirloin steak dinner! It's a huge meal at a great price! And Wishbone has Always been the

Loved this place. The beef barley soup was delish tasted homemade! The only criticism would be that they should make homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. Both of those items were packaged.
It's my go to place for fried chicken. I haven't found better locally, to be honest. Great food, and the staff is always friendly. I've taken my family here several times over the years, and never had a bad experience. I'd give 10 instead of 5 stars if I could!

I've been going here since I was a kid and for the 1st time I took my kids here. We are always reluctant to take our kids anywhere since they never finish their food. Well they enjoyed the food sooo much. My son dipped everything in the honey provided for the toast and I absolutely love their gravy.

Food was good, only complaint I had is the salad a little wilted and mostly just lettuce. But everything else was good of course the fried chicken is always good. Next time I need to try the shrimp which looked good too.
Greatest chicken in Denver and has been for generations. Never had anything but tasty food and wonderful service from this family owned and run restaurant.
Have not been there in 7 yrs. Last visit food & service were horrible. The restaurant was not clean . Maybe new owner or manager ?? Decided to give it a try again.. The wait staff were very pleasant and attentive. The food was plentiful & really tasty.
