Review Blue Pan Pizza - Denver

Lost in the Mountains !!!
The best Detroit style pizza in Colorado!!! Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. The pizza’s are very thick squares but at the same time, it’s unbelievably light and crispy. Fluffy, airy dough with so much crunch and texture to every bite. We’ve tried a few other Detroit style pizza spots out here and they were just dense and heavy like a brick. We were blown away with Blue Pan, you can tell they use really good ingredients and put a lot of thought in the toppings & combinations. The staff was all very polite and the atmosphere is pretty laid back. Would definitely make the long trip down the mountain for this pizza again!!!

Came here for a Sunday night dinner. It was full, but was seated within 10 minutes. Server was extremely friendly and helpful in understanding their menu and serving sizes. This is important, especially if you've never had Detroit style pizza. Started off with a few beers with the Artichoke and Eggplant Parmesan appetizers. Tried to order the Eggplant Fries, but they were all sold out. All the pizzas sounded good, but had to get their Detroit Pizzas. Ordered the Mountain Top, Brooklyn Bridge, and Little Rose pizzas. Pizzas came out in about 15 minutes straight out the oven. They were very thick, looked great, and perfectly crisped. Hard to explain sizes, but I'd say the average person can eat 2 slices of the Detroit, 3 if you're really hungry. Nobody in our group ate 3 with some only eating 1 slice with the appetizers. As far as taste, they all tasted great. I preferred the Brooklyn Bridge, but all were very flavorful with a generous amount of toppings. I will come back next time and try some of the other pizzas. Good food and service.

I usually get takeout because this place is always packed (for good reason). We decided to dine-in last night and the pizza was even better coming fresh out of the oven. We had a group with separate tabs and Will handled it like a champ. The Brooklyn Bridge is my go-to, crispy edges with a creamy ricotta, but we also got eggplant fries for the first time. Who knew eggplant could be SO good!? The food was amazing as always but our group was utter chaos and Will was able to keep our tabs straight, brought our food out together and he was friendly and professional. Thank you, Will. A neighborhood favorite.

Absolutely one of our favorites for both takeout and dine in. Food is always delicious and comes hot and crispy, always a treat for us. Our favorites are the Rocky Mountain and Johnny Primo Detroit Style pizzas, and the Supreme New York style. Always good when reheated, even in the microwave. Great place!

It's not hard to mess up pizza but it's also hard to master pizza so that one can notice a superior pizza over another. This place nails that right in the coffin and stands as the best pizza I've ever had. THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE: By default this should be your first pizza here. They use crater pepperoni and the pizza is cooked to perfection. There's no doughiness nor is there any dryness, it's perfectly im between. The ricotta on top is of another level of complexity. Adding this kind of cheese to this pizza changes the game from which it is already perfect. You need to get this pizza. THE SERVICE: This place knows how to treat their guests. They very much embody the "we're all humans" type vibe. They make you comfortable and very happy. This place is great, I didn't know what to expect until I sat down and had the Brooklyn Bridge I cannot wait to go back and try some other flavors.

Best pizza I've had in Denver. Highly recommended. Detroit style is rarely bad, but rarely great. Blue Pan, and Via 313 in Austin, have different takes but are super.

Came here off a recommendation and was not disappointed. If you love Detroit-style pizza then this is the spot!!! Pizza is so good and a good amount of beers on tap as well. 10/10 will come back the next time I’m in Denver.

Not sure why google map reviews in Denver are unreliable! Is the pizza good? Yes Would you order next month? No First time trying Detroit-style pizzas. It is a very heavy, carb-rich pizza. A slice of it is probably equivelent to 3 slices of a regular pizza. It's relatively pricy; a large and a small pizzas cost $59. Toppings are fresh, which adds to the flavors. Been told the pizza will be ready in 20 min, ended up taking close to 40 min.

The Detroit style margarita pizza was just awesome! Loved the staff, the atmosphere, and location. The place was very busy with every table full. We luckily ordered online and picked up a margarita Detroit Style pizza. It was great! Pickup wait was 45 minutes but don’t mind that. Worth the stop and wait for some Detroit Style pizza here!

Blue Pan Pizza was excellent. Their specialty of Detroit style pizza was delicious. The crust is light and slightly chewy, making an excellent base. It had a nice crisp on the edges, and the toppings were perfect. We had the Brooklyn Bridge pizza based on the recommendation of our server. It came out quickly and delicious. The dining area was comfortable it was nice that you didn't get overwhelmed by noise from other tables. We are definitely adding Detroit style to our pizza options.
