This was my first time coming to the New York Deli News and I definitely enjoyed myself. The restaurant was decorated in such a way that it felt vintage with out feeling outdated. My server was very friendly and helpful and even recommended I try the small sandwich first because it was a pretty generous protion and boy was he right. There was so much food! They started with a bowl of pickle spears which were delicious and crunchy and cold and then my sandwich, which I got the pastrami and brisket and put a little mustard on it and it was amazing. The plate also came with a little container of coleslaw and if you're the adventurous sort I totally recommend putting the slaw on the sandwich. The sweet juice crunch of the slaw really adds to the saltiness of the meat and the tangy mustard. The fries were crispy and piled high with a really good seasoning on them. I definitely recommend stopping by here and I'll personally be going back at some point to try their weekend brunch menu!

One of Denver’s best delis, their Reuben’s and sandwiches are definitely worth a visit (especially now that the Bagel Deli stopped serving dinner). Their various desserts aren’t the best you can get in the city but the portions are HUGE and will satisfy any sweet-tooth.

I have been coming here since 1996 and it still delivers great NY style sandwiches and specialty foods. Rueben’s are the bomb-Large are open faced, matza ball soup, knishes… it’s like NYC, but better because it’s here in Denver😎 Don’t leave the deli without getting meat by the pound to take home. Kosher salami is amazing. Cheesecake is delicious. This place is a must visit!

Im the office manager at a medical facility and we had breakfast catered for about 30 people from New York Deli News this morning and let me tell what a hit this was in our office! The spread was AMAZING everything was so fresh and tasty! The portions were big and still hot and it smelled so good here, we had everything from assorted bagels, cream cheese, eggs, bacon sausage, cheesy potatoes, pancakes, fresh fruits and veggies, coffee (so tasty) orange juice and all the condiments and plastic utensils and everything we needed, nothing was missed. I had catering done before but this was impressive thank you so much for the great service, good quality and most importantly affordability we will definitely order again and try new things. Highly recommend and definitely earned their 5 stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is an authentic Deli & the delicious food proves it! My family & I have been customers for many years. You can count on them to serve up the same mouthwatering Reuben, or Pastrami sandwiches with all the special sides. They go the "extra mile" with service & food. Be sure to try their amazing chicken matzo ball soup!

This has to be the absolute best deli I’ve *ever* been to. The chopped liver is just like my grandmother used to make. The egg salad is delicious. The chicken salad is divine. They really know how to do this food very, very well! I was asked by Google Maps to update my review today, and there is nothing more I can say. This place is awesome!

I'm a regular here. There are many good choices. Servings are a good size. Fine wait staff. Decent free parking. They close at 8pm. I liked it when they closed at 11pm. Not a fan of their sides (potato salad, cole slaw). Ask for fries to be crispy to get tasty ones.

After several satisfying lunches and dinners I was ready for Saturday brunch. A marvelous experience. My over medium eggs were perfect and I was impressed by the scalloped style potatoes. That was a nice surprise. The bacon was superior. I have a new favorite pancake.

Always a great experience! Not a lot of delis in the Denver metro area, but luckily, NY Deli News is delicious and consistent. Here’s what I ordered: - Pastrami on Rye (ordering the large will be plenty for lunch and a second meal later) - Side of Fries, crispy (doesn’t come with meal) - 7 layer chocolate cake (very rich, very moist, very good!) - Coffee I thoroughly enjoy coming to NY Deli News. My only issue is the price. A large sandwich can easily approach $18-$20, and that doesn’t include fries. A few tips: - order a side of Russian dressing for your sandwich - be sure to ask for pickles or they won’t bring them out to the table - coffee is a little watered down - chocolate cake is very rich and obviously huge, easily can be shared across the table Finally, the staff are friendly and work very hard. Now, my four star rating hits on two major items that I must get off my chest: 1. Price is pretty high for a deli. I’ve been to plenty of delicatessens and this seems to be the highest I’ve ever seen. 2. The pastrami, for big it is, is still uncommonly small. Classic sandwiches like this need to easily be overflowing with meat. This is a small portion, especially for the price youre paying. I’m always willing to pay higher than normal costs for larger than normal portions.

We were going to their competitors next door for years and completely missed out on their delicious food! The corned beef & pastrami Reuben is unquestionably one of the best we ever had, and the portions are really generous! The Killer Chocolate cake is to die for, it was so big we had to split it 3 ways. We will be back!
