My husband and I had brunch there on Friday morning. It was the last day of our vacation. It was such a unique and lovely setting. We were warmly welcomed and had the opportunity to sit outside among the huge trees in the sunshine filtering through. The server was friendly and pleasant. I had the Cozy Breakfast and my husband had the omelet. The food was was delicious. It came out quickly and was hot. It was just the breakfast I wanted. The pancakes were the best I ever had. I would recommend this to everyone. Such a gem!
The only place on the north end where you can get real buckwheat pancakes! Everything we've ordered has been deliciously prepared and eaten. What a menu! Go there. Just do it.
Now Serving Dinner Too!! We’ve been here several times before and enjoyed many brunches on the patio. We walked by last week and noticed they were serving dinner. So today, we came back and gave it a go! We had a small salad, the app of potato/cheese rolls, pesto shrimp gnocchi, and sweet potato gnocchi with pork and arugula, and the service was excellent as always. Recommend for brunch, lunch and now dinner too!
I’m not a huge pancake person but the ones they serve here are my favorite. So good I almost forgot to take the picture before I started eating. Super cute place on Tennyson along with walkable shops and coffee to see. The half sized oatmeal is a great portion too!
Cute place for brunch—the pancakes and coffee were great, but wasn’t a huge fan of the egg dish. They don’t have a liquor license but said you are allowed to bring in your own alcohol which was a first for me at any restaurant!
AMAZING food, slow service. It was super busy here so service was a bit slow. The wait was worth it, though, because I got the best gluten free pancakes that I’ve ever had. They tasted like real pancakes! There was a bit of a wait to be seated and have our order taken, but the food was delicious.
The food was delicious but my family’s favorite part of visiting this place was our waiter. Jessie is the most servant hearted waiter I have had. She is there to serve and has the best attitude. You could tell the restaurant was getting busy and yet she had a smile on her face the whole time.
Large interior space tended by friendly and efficient staff. Sizeable menu of traditional breakfast favorites with a Southwest Colorado twist. The "Cozy Huevos" (aka huevos rancheros) was spicy, hearty and delicious.
I love breakfast at the cozy cottage. The tea selection is very nice and the food is tasty. If I'm being nitpicky, I just wish they used less oil and more salt and pepper while cooking. And maybe crispier potatoes. They do well with vegetarian option and the light and healthy options are always a hit with me.
Had a fantastic brunch. Pearl was our server and she was great, very personable and gave great recommendations. All 3 of us enjoyed our meals. Very tasty!! Highly recommend. Love that it's small and locally owned.
This place has the best breakfast on Tennyson street! It was a nice day so we sat on the patio and the service was quick and great. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfect, not chewy at all, and was rather impressive. Large portions and small business eats. Definitely a place to check out!
Five stars! Fabulous breakfast (lunch and we hear dinner ) joint in the highlands. Our server, Jessie, was wonderful.
Must visit anytime you want great food, super friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. And, they’re getting their liquor license so dinner + drinks is another reason to visit.
