Decent for Denver if you're looking for a Neapolitan pie.
Just around the corner from 16th St Mall and just steps away from the 16th & California Station, this pizza place is perfectly located and serves up great food. You can order by the slice classic thin crust style with your choice of toppings. Seating is available upstairs which is small but very cute. Staff was friendly and helpful, I'll be back soon!
We wandered into here wanting to get a pizza, we didn't pay attention to the size specifications. Basically we got this giant two topping pizza w/dessert and it was only $27. When they brought the pizza up we laughed hysterically because we had no idea. It was delicious and the staff was friendly. Order a whole pie, give your leftovers to one of the many people without homes on the streets of Denver. Win/win.
The pizzas here are huge the one in the picture was a half thick crust. It's enough to feed a family of three. It was also good and tasty if you like a thick crust. It also weighed a ton and was really reasonably priced. So if you are in Denver and are on a budget this pizza will last you a few meals
For all of the times I have been disappointed by another branch of Anthony’s, this one made up for them. I loved the pie they made. Even on a busy night, they created a wonderful pizza. Thank you staff of 16th street Anthony’s.
What an awesome find. The owner is awesome and this place is amazing if you are looking for Pizza in downtown denver. You walk in order and then sit up stairs and this amazing family recipe pizza. This was the highlight of my food adventure in denver. You HAVE TO GO
Missed my train and decided to get some pizza. I was able to get a slice before the next train.
New York Style. Thin and greasy but fast and good.
Great price for such amazing slices. I ordered a thin crust slice and it was pretty big and was delicious. The staff was friendly and very quick! There is always a lot of people here so you might have to wait a few minutes in order to get your pizza. The place is not the cleanest, but is cozy.
Great pizza, reasonable prices, very helpful staff. A must stop if I'm anywhere nearby.
Amazing restaurant! Don’t let the looks deceive you, the pizza is amazing and staff is incredibly friendly! The Italians in my family are incredibly picky, especially about NY pizza coming from Denver but my dad wouldn’t stop raving about the food, even after we left Colorado. The menu selection is huge, and while I can’t attest for everything, the pizzas definitely give you all the bang for your buck. 100% recommended and would definitely come back if given the chance.
PEANUT ALLERGY FRIENDLY
This is the best pizza downtown by far, and it's a great value. The staff are super friendly and always seem like they're having fun at work.
I like sitting upstairs and watching the staff make the pizzas. It's like my own personal episode of "How It's Made."
I love black olives, and this is the only pizza store I've found that puts an appropriate amount of olives on my pizza. Usually I get a meager handful as if the pizzamaker is personally disgusted by olives and I have to repeatedly ask for more as they add one olive at a time. At this store, I just say "a slice with black olives, please" and in a few minutes I get a beautiful, olive-covered slice of pizza with delicious olives in every bite.
