Back in the day this was a mob hangout and had some of the best Italian food in town. I had not eaten there in years until I stopped by for lunch the other day and it was terrific! Best Clams and linguine I have had in a long time. It is on the 'Mob Tours ' in Denver and probably worth it. Back on my list of favorites.
Excellent service the hostess was amazing. We didn't have a reservation, there were no tables for atleast an hour. She got my party of five a table in 20 minutes. The chef brought a complementary appetizer to the table. The chicken parmesan is enough for two people and delicious. Great place definately a place I'm going back to.
Celebrating a birthday and we made a reservation and we’re immediately sat down at a great table. Food was amazing! Staff were amazing and the drinks were flowing. I was the DD so don’t worry I was served great coffee and water.
This place is outstanding. The food is top-notch. I got the chicken Parmigiana. It was amazing. It was a lot be prepared for leftovers. My husband got the chicken marsala, and he said it was fantastic. We shared the tiramisu, and it was a wonderful finish to our meal. The only negative is that I ran out of my drink halfway through the meal, and our server didn't refill it. Otherwise, 100% will go back and highly recommend.
Gaetanos is a Denver icon. Emerging out of Denver's hazy northside history there has always existed the impression that somehow Gaetanos was connected to some of the more nefarious and lawless Denver families. Whether that's true or not, I'll have to leave that to the historians. What I do know is that I had a fantastic made to order Italian meal, a couple of good stiff drinks, and old school atmosphere. Gaetano's can be a lot of fun.
Fantastic Italian food and desserts, especially the seafood pasta options. The Tiramasu is insanely delightful and made in house.
Alyssa went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I'm so happy we went here food was delicious fast and warm. Service was beyond amazing. Atmosphere was perfect. We will be returning. Ps try the prime rib when they have it
My parents were visiting from out of town and really enjoyed this place. About $250 for 6 people, everything was delicious. Family favorites were definitely the tiramisu and the calamari that also had jalapeños mixed in.
Old school gem! The service is so great. The happy hour menu is small, but contains all of the classics including an excellent wedge salad & shishito peppers. The chicken parmesan was generous and very delicious. The beverages were good too. The recommended Chianti pairing with the chicken parm was spot on.
This is a cool restaurant for Italian food. Lots of history in Denver and with the mob. (Check out the restroom for mob photos). I had lunch and picked the smaller size option of spaghetti, which came with one meatball. I liked it. I also had tiramisu for dessert, which was okay. They have a parking lot and there is also street parking available.
We had time to spare before a dinner reservation close by - so popped in for a snack and a cocktail. Can't wait to go again for dinner, as we loved the environment! Felt like we had been thrown into time with Italian memorabilia sprinkled throughout! Our appetizer was accompanied by a marinara VERY reminiscent of my Sicilian grandmother!! So delish! The server was chatty and friendly. Super fun!
Absolutely incredible! I love Italian food, and I had the best chicken parmigiana of my life here. Service was excellent, set in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Also try the Buratta!
