The brunch, lunch, and dinner menus are filled with a variety of eclectic options that will satisfy even the most picky eater. The drink menu and tequila menu is extensive and worth every penny. Ambiance is top-notch and staff are always friendly and attentive. THE best new(er) edition to Cherry Creek North.
Just had a great dinner- shrimp salad and pork quesadillas. Complimentary large seasoned chips, salsa, black bean dip, hot pepper sauce, salt and limes! Atmosphere and staff are great, too! $$ (similar to most Cherry Creek pricing) but worth it!
Sol is hands down one of the most delicious meals I have ever had! The flavors were amazing. If you love spicy, they offer extremely spicy hot sauce as well as milder offers. I enjoyed the quinoa rice just as much as my entree. I highly recommend getting a margarita as well. Can't wait to come back in Denver. The grilled sweet corn is to die for.
Best dinner experience in Denver! I am SO HAPPY I found this beautiful restaurant! The staff was incredible! My server, Steven, was knowledgeable about the menu and spice levels, attentive with service and spot on with recommendations! The atmosphere was gorgeous on a snowy Saturday evening. A live musician played guitar and the ambiance was top notch. The prices were incredibly reasonable considering the flavors, superior staff and delicious food. I’m in Denver for two weeks training with United and I think I’ll need to stop by again. This time I’ll try to save room for dessert!
What a great spot for Mexican food! The stylish interior is inviting and modern. The food is great. Complimentary tortilla chips come out with two dips, a spicy salsa and a thick bean dip. My table partner had a ripping strawberry basil martini to start off. The tortilla chips were huge rounds and very crunchy. We split an order of chicken quesadillas, and glad we did. The portion was huge. They came out topped with an avocado sauce and a light red sauce, and a swath of pico. On the side was a tiny crock each of black beans and red rice, hardly enough to bother with. But the focus was on the quesadillas, with tender chicken and loads of cheese.
They have Pepsi products and a great beer and spirits menu. There was even live music on the Tuesday night we were there. Definitely want to return.
Came on a Sunday afternoon and had a delicious meal! We also had beautiful (and soft) live music, all the windows open and great service. When you come, you MUST get the goat cheese appetizer. Sweet and slightly spicy and all yummy. We also did the grilled sweet corn, cooked on the cob and cut table side. The short rib barbacoa with sweet potato, rice and beans was perfect to split (since we had to try everything else too!) and the meat was tender. We didn’t get drinks but saw a few come out that looked good. They bring out chips and salsa and a bean dip too. Can’t wait to come back!
KERSTYN!!! You completely earned this 5-star review! Our party of 11 was blown away by your attention to detail, your service, kindness and just over all amazing ability to make our visit here perfect! We were in Denver, CO from all over the United States for a real estate conference and we can not express our gratitude enough! On a side note the food way AMAZING!!
Very great Mexican place in the area. The kids menu was good and the quesadilla so delicious that my five year old devoured the whole thing. I had the most amazing torta I've had in my whole life! Service and atmosphere were also spot on. I hope I get a chance to go back!

First time here and very pleased. Our server Hector was very attentive. Food portions are sufficient for what you're paying, we're so tired of cube-on-a-plate tapas for big bucks. Everything we ordered was tasty: watermelon salad, coconut calamari, margs.. all good. Sauce was a little spicy for me and they even whipped me up a nice alternative.. that's a refreshing level of service! Nice-enough live music. Hardest thing was parking.. typical for this area.
This is one of our favorite places and always a wonderful go to when you want a guaranteed good experience. The service is always exceptional and the food and drinks even better. We do make a mistake everytime we go...we order too much. It seems you are getting just a small Taco but for some reason we always take food home. Order small then add to if you are still hungry. I think it is because everything is so fresh and made to order. This visit I ordered one Taco and STILL needed a to go box but we did have the queso as an appetizer. 😋 I want to add, the ambiance is a super cool vibe. Great for happy hour and date night!
I surprise my husband and daughter by taking them to Sol for lunch. We had a couple of very delicious meals during which there was a little mishap, but Mike, the manager, took care of things immediately. Charisse was pleasant, and the overall experience was nice. We don’t often go out for high-end Mexican food, but if you do, this is the place to check out.
I don’t leave reviews often but am finding myself needing to leave a review for Sol Cocina. My girlfriend and I were randomly looking for restaurants in our area and stumbled upon this place. The ambience was great with a live guitarist which was great background music. Filip our server, brought out complementary salsa and bean dip with fresh seasoned tortilla chips. We ordered house margaritas made with agave which made them the perfect and not too sweet. Filip recommended the short rib barbacoa which was honestly one of the best Mexican dishes I have ever had. Overall everything was amazing. I’m definitely recommending to friends in the future.
