Great place for over 25 years! Can't beat a $9.50 combo plate and $5.50 Marg with the $15.00 burgers and $5 draft beers that are the current rage in town. Great food and service.

We had a blast here! The margarita pitchers are a good deal, and the food is awesome. I live in castle rock and we dont have good Mexican food anywhere near us, so I was very happy to go somewhere that had such good food. The service was good, fast, and nice. Everything was perfect! And I really liked how open the outdoor seating is, it felt like we had our own little area and weren't crowded. Will be returning. Thank you!

We had a party of 7 and there was a mixup on orders last night, but they made it right. Props to Alejandra. We've always loved Benny's and it was really cool of them to do what they did. My parents have been going here since back in the day and I've been going here since I was a kid. Love the atmosphere, the prices, the margaritas and the food! Will continue to go back.

I've been eating here since '90 and have never been disappointed. Huge menu with lots of excellent dishes. Not super polished but the prices are good and the bar cranks out some tasty margaritas. This is the closest thing I have found to New Mexico style Mexican food.

We had a great experience at Benny’s last night! The place was really busy when we got there at 6, and our kids were over the edge after a long day of traveling. The hostess went out of her way to help us, sat us quickly, and then served us herself. She kept the chips coming and our dinners were delicious. Another server brought our kids bowls of ice cream at the end of the night so I had a chance to finish my dinner. We’ll be back the next time we are in Denver!

Benny's is good, good food, good service. It's better to eat there, I think, rather than do take out. We did that a couple of weeks ago and the food didn't travel well. It was tasty and all, but the consistencies were off somehow. That's not a knock, just reality.
I can't wait to see the new bakery!

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience, stop at Benny’s! I consider myself to be pretty picky about Mexican food and this place ticks all of my boxes. Extensive menu, authentic ingredients, yummy margaritas, and great service as well. I highly recommend the fish taco dinner. Just thinking about it is making me hungry.

Fast service. There are several terrific servers but have to say that Jose is the best. He always greets us with a handshake and a smile even if he isn't waiting on us that particular day. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

I had ordered The enchilada plate along with a couple of hard tacos. The food had allot of flavor :) Tacos were super great and not oily :) My enchiladas had onions in them :( when i ordered them with out :( but the plus side is they were big enough to take out and the sauce was the die for :) over all I'm still a happy customer :) Thank you for the Great food :) Sorry this location is in Laughlin NV :)

Who doesn't love good Mexican food?! The portion sizes are awesome on the food, however they could make the margaritas bigger. Either way a good little spot for lunch or dinner and also very family friendly. Prices are very reasonable!

We had a surprise 40th Birthday on the patio. The food was spot on the best Mexican food we have had in a long time. The server Amanda? did a great job. She was fast, accurate and friendly. With working downtown this place just became a favorite.

Use to love this place. Today, we ordered food, then nothing for 30 min. Had to go the the bar for drink refills while our waiter talked to another table for ten minutes,(still no food), After we finished or drinks (from the bar) our wairer told us he didn't care we were leaving, said, Whatever have a good night. Then he tried to stop us and say there was a large party and our food was on the way as we were walking out, would we like to stay. Obviously hos other tabkes were more important and he cared not about us. He tried to show us our food as we walked out but at that point he had alread told us "whatever, have a great night)" Worst experience I've ever had here. No managers, no one in charge, a bunch of kids running the place that don't care. Find a did place to eat, we will from now on!

I'll go ahead and give you five stars. We always have a great experience at Benny's. The fact that it was Cinco de Mayo factors into my review. Your host stand was very organized. When we received our number, it was margarita time for the wait. The bartender was very friendly and served us in a timely fashion despite being extremely busy. Of course, our liter of margaritas was exceptional. When we sat down, it took longer than usual to be greeted by our server (we understood because you were very busy). When he arrived, he was very friendly and took our drink and food orders. When we got our food, he stopped by to check on us. But that was the last time we saw him until we were ready to leave. In the meantime, we asked another employee for another beer. Still we didn't receive it for another 15 minutes. Again, the place was jam packed, so we understood. When the waiter came by with the beer, he apologized and offered to take it if the bill. Another bit of time passed and I got up to go pay. The waiter apologized again and said he was working with the manager to take the beer off the bill. When he brought our check by, he informed us that all our drinks were comped. Didn't expect that. We gave the server a generous tip and left full, buzzed and happy. We have always had a fantastic experience at Benny's dating back to the days at the old location just west down the street. The management is first rate and the kitchen top notch. To be able to pump out all that quality food on a crazy Cinco de Mayo Friday was impressive. Kudos to you all.

I had the taco salad, the "ground beef" was this "mush" even worse than Taco Bell's taco meat! it was literally over-ground into a poor tasting pulp with a weird and bland taste to it. The rest of the ingredients were fresh and good, but the "ground beef" really ruined the whole thing.

The last three times I have come to Benny's the food has been terrible as well as the service. I have been coming here for years and gave them the benefit of the doubt but after having yet another terrible dish I will not be coming back. I ordered the chicken tacos and the chicken was like jerky. The server didn't seem to care and asked what else we wanted. Ordered the chili rellenos which were also over cooked and terrible. There wasn't a manager available to talk to about the food quality so won't be coming back sadly�

Benny's is a good Mexican restaurant to eat at if you're in Denver. We ate there before we went to the Zoo lights. We had been there when we went to the Denver Broncos parade after they won the super bowl. Didn't disappoint then and didn't disappoint Saturday night.

Been going to Benny's for 21 years. Sure there have been a few bumps in the road, but a combo platter that started at $7 now going for $9.50? Seriously, go elsewhere Yelpers. You can spend more at Taco Bell. Oh, but last time, they had great service.

It's been 15 years since I last went to Benny's (I live across the country now). I was so excited to finally get to go back after all of this time, and it didn't disappoint! The classic, frozen margaritas are amazing - a lot more strong than I was expecting and totally delicious. Otherwise, I ordered my "usual" from my teenage years... and the chicken chimichanga didn't disappoint. It's exactly as I remember it... as were the chips and salsa!

I've eaten here for almost 20 yrs.. with family and friends but never again horrible service an food took forever on a non busy day an never received our drinks..Wow..good luck on your remodeling..hopefully that will keep your customers... Cause it wont be the food or customer service.....

I've always loved Benny's. Yesterday we had the absolutely worst waitress. Took her forever to take our order. Had to chase her down to get drink refills. Once we ordered food it came out quickly but was delivered by someone else. I'll definitely go back but will not have that waitress.
