Red Rooster Cafe

Five stars all around. Great breakfast joint with friendly service. Great food choices. I love to look at all the cool decorations. Came here for an annual Christmas breakfast with my work peeps and we had great food and a good time. I recommend the big breakfast burrito, but you can't go wrong with anything here.

If you love breakfast at all times like me, you want to go here! I ate here every day during my wonderful visit to Denver. This is a real diner vibe and always busy! Staff were great and friendly, and the food was awesome at a great price. If it has Rooster in it, order it! My favorites were the Rooster Skillet and the Rooster omelette. You get a nice helping, so prepare to eat!

This is in my top breakfast and lunch place in Denver prices are reasonable and the food is consistent the service is instant and the portions are huge. I've been eating here for probably 10 years and without a doubt it is consistent never had a bad meal. Try the Big Fat Greek plate or the rooster smothered burrito you can't beat them.

We had an overall good time here. The service was quick and very friendly once a waitstaff member gets to you. Most of our meals were quite tasty too, and their portions filling enough for people with huge appetites and/or big tummies like me! I couldn't give Red Rooster Cafe the fifth star because anything that had bacon was cooked crispy and dry (think slightly overcooked bacon, see photos) and our philly cheese steak sandwich was on the dry side though stuffed with plenty of protein. Host service - or maybe a sign up front - could have been better too as we just stood around the front door not realizing this was a "seat yourself" restaurant, but also no one came to tell us to seat ourselves. After about 4 minutes we just found an empty table and sat down. Overall rating is closer to a high 3.5 but rounding up for the excellent service received after we found a table.
