What a comforting and delicious dining atmosphere. Every plate we had was so fresh and executed really well. I loved the assortment they had available on the menu and the ramen noodles were out of this world. I’d definitely recommend dining here as soon as possible… Friendly staff and great service! We made a reservation and that made the entire experience very stress free. Highly recommend!

So happy Ototo is back open. It’s our favorite spot over their sister Sushi Den. The food is consistent and good! We’ve never had a bad bite there. The spicy edamame is a favorite and tried the Brussels sprouts last night. I have to say they are my new favorite. The uniqueness of the Japanese grill brings about so many interesting dishes. Try this place. You won’t be disappointed. I took one star way as it’s a small place and if you are looking for an intimate setting this is not it. They have tables for 2, but they are so close to other tables for 2.

A truly Japanese-style restaurant making impressive classics; choose from the BEST Ramen in the region, raw dishes, small-plates, seafood, meats and vegetables. We’ve always loved Ototo (Little Brother, the meaning can vary with region), eating there regularly for years (directed by my Japanese wife) but in general Americans don’t understand the huge variety in Japanese foods that have been represented here. Because of this, the menu and direction has varied over the years. Today I’d call it a greatest hits menu and an amazing place to explore! The dishes offered are a tasty mix of mostly old-school Japanese with some modern concepts mixed in. They’re ‘reopening’ which mainly means a change in menu, I think they have nailed it with this iteration! I expect to see a lot of variety in daily feature and Happy Hour Menus, the Den Chef Brothers are incredible classic chefs and great new world innovators! Believe it or not, sushi is a new Japanese food and there is so more to Japanese cuisine than sushi! When you go, be experimental, try something new, share dishes and mix up the menu as much as possible. Don’t fear the veggies, they are incredible. We also recommend the cocktails, and happy hour is divine! Come with an open mind, an amazing date night spot!

My experience at Ototo left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm ambiance and attentive service set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. Our party of three had the pleasure of being served by Christina, whose impeccable knowledge of the menu and cheerful demeanor made our evening even more enjoyable. She guided us through Ototo's extensive list of Japanese robata-style tapas, ensuring we made the most of our culinary journey. Our journey began with the Kara-Age, which arrived perfectly crispy on the outside yet succulent on the inside. The combination of flavors in the Honey Miso Eggplant transported our taste buds to new heights, leaving us craving more. The Crispy Spicy Tuna was a delightfully modern twist on a traditional dish, with its subtle spiciness perfectly complementing the freshness of the fish. A highlight of the evening was the Angus Beef Sirloin Carpaccio. Christina's recommendation proved to be spot-on, as the thinly sliced beef melted in our mouths, releasing a symphony of flavors that were simply divine. Lastly, the Tako Yaki, a classic Japanese street food delicacy, was bursting with savory goodness, leaving us wanting to order another round. The quality and presentation of each dish were outstanding, and the portion sizes left us feeling satisfied without being overwhelmed. Christina's attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch to our dining experience, making us feel valued and appreciated as customers. In conclusion, Ototo, accompanied by the exceptional service from Christina, exceeded our expectations, providing us with an unforgettable culinary adventure. I highly recommend a visit to experience the delightful flavors and warm hospitality for yourself.

Great food! I did assume there was more sushi here but it turns out it's more small plates. Sashimi was great as well. Definitely need to go again

Ototo is another gem the Kizaki brothers have created, and one of my favorites in all of Colorado! An assortment of "country" themed Japanese small plates which were all to drool for. And I mean, every single dish were delicious (I've tried them all). I am so happy Ototo is finally reopened after nearly 3 years (seems like eternity) of shut down due to COVID. They even had marinated chicken hearts on a skewer, lamb on skewer, whole grilled squid, fresh raw oysters and so many mouth watering small plates to keep you entertained along with fabulous drinks from the bar! And Oh!!...and some of the best Ramens I've had anywhere are found here, too!! I've had a real snooty server before but most are great, every restaurant seem to have a few. Food is great though.

OTOTO has re-opened and I think I’ve been there every weekend since. Where else can you get the freshest sushi around and also an amazing bowl of Tonkotsu Ramen? They also always have great and random specials that surprise me and actually get me to try something new. Eat here. It’s insanely good.

Awesome, friendly service and delicious food. Portions were also larger than expected and after 8 dishes we were STUFFED (there were 2 of us). We ordered the Honey Miso Eggplant, Kinpira Gobo, Agedashi Tofu, Bacon Mochi, Karaage, Buta Kimchi, Ebi-Mayo, and Maguro Sashimi Yoten Mori as well as a bottle of sake… All for $75/person including tip (cheaper than we anticipated for the amount of food ordered). We will definitely be returning!

What a phenomenal experience!!! We showed up as a party of 6, but my buddy had failed to mention when he called for the reservation that 2 of us are babies 😆!! The staff were amazing and pivoted to accommodate us with this new information even though they were incredibly busy - they set us up in a private room near the back, which was able to fit our two strollers, and then proceeded to make us feel so comfortable! Every single person was friendly, the manager checked in with us several times and chatted, our waitress was fantastic, and then the food?!? *Chef's Kiss* we will definitely be back, thanks again y'all!!

Friendly, fast service, cool vibe. The Brussels sprouts were amazing. Each little leaf was crispy. The short rib was seriously the best I've had. Can't wait to go back!
