Had afternoon tea at Babe's tea room twice now. Once was themed for Halloween, and it was spooky and cute! Both times that I've been here, the servers have been lovely and attentive. They're great at letting you know about the teas and how to steep them.
The food and tea is where it's at though. Worth every penny, every part of the tiered experience is worth it. The sandwiches are delicious (especially the curry one), the sweet treats are to die for, and the scones (clotted cream and jam included) are divine.
And of course, the tea is fantastic. They have wide variety, of which I have tried many flavors, and enjoyed every one of them. Plus, you have the unlimited option so you can try whichever flavor/type you desire.
Overall, would recommend this tea room to spend time with your family, friends, or even yourself if you really want!
This is a very belated review, but it’s worth giving! I visited Babe’s Tea Room in May of 2023, on Mother’s Day. Despite the reservation list being packed, their staff was so incredibly kind in being able to accommodate squeezing me in. The selection of teas were broad, and the flavors delightful. The food itself was delicious, and made with a level of finesse and skill that exemplify what a true tea service really is. I definitely recommend having a reservation, but it’s 100% worth it!
We did the holidays tea. This place is so cute. Anybody and everybody would love to come and have tea here. The tea is amazing. We tried the Moroccan mint, a Christmas one and a ginger one. I don’t remember their names. But they were delicious. We also had the holiday assortment treats, and they were good as well. We weren’t able to finish them, but they did offer us a box to go. we definitely recommend giving it a try as you only get an hour and a half per session. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time as they usually don’t do walk-ins.
The cons - if you have a wheelchair you’re gonna have to have somebody help you get in here. Also, the door is very small and there’s not a lot of room to move around if you are in a wheelchair. It’s very crammed space. We felt like an hour and a half was not enough time. They kind of rushed us to leave. And we wanted to finish our team, but they did offer it to go.
What a wonderful place! The seats have cushions and some pillows, it's decorated beautifully, it has wifi, and amazing tea. The place is full service, bringing tea and food to your table and having you pay at the end of your time there. I saw a group of girls happily celebrating one's birthday, and it seems as though you can book tables in advance.
I walked in and asked if I could sit there with my laptop and do some schoolwork, of which they happily accommodated. I got the Maple Peach tea, which was amazing. The waitress was so incredibly nice, I can't recommend this place enough
This is the cutest place, it is very refreshing to have a place to bring friends where it doesn’t have to involve alcohol. The Phoenix dragon jasmine tea is my favorite! The turmeric curry chicken salad sandwich is so yummy. And they have THE BEST MACAROONS! I’ve been here at least 10 times the past year and i love bringing my friends and family to check it out, they are all very pleased with the experience. Give it a try! And make a reservation ahead of time, it can get pretty busy.
The Downtown Denver Tea Room offers a chic and hip atmosphere with an extensive tea and Champagne selection. 🍵🥂 The vibrant ambiance can get a bit loud when crowded, but the attentive staff ensures a pleasant experience. 👍
I went here on my birthday on a whim and it was such an amazing experience!! I asked if they had any birthday specials and she came out with the most beautiful chocolate muse creation I have ever seen!! I didn’t expect such a sweet elaboration treat and she was so nice to us the whole time! I love everything about this place, the taste of the drinks, the food, the people, the decorations🩷🩷🩷
Such an amazing place! Every tea and food item we received for the afternoon tea was delicious and loved by our group. Beautiful space with so many options, including for dietary restrictions. The staff were all incredibly knowledgeable & were able to select great teas for us. Everything down to the honey and butter was explained well and tasty. Even those who are not huge tea drinkers will have a great experience here!

We had such a great staff outing here to celebrate veterinary technician week! Caleb (sp?) was GREAT at explaining our options and all of their offerings. Comfy seating, super cute location, delicious food and teas. They were easy to book on open table and when I had to adjust the booking they were SUPER friendly over the phone. I can’t recommend this enough and will be asking my friends to tea in the near future. Thank you so much to the whole team! You gave us some much needed bonding time. ❤️❤️❤️
This place is amazing! We went to celebrate a girls weekend and our friends baby sprinkle. We did the Champagne Brunch. The tea sandwiches were perfect and delicious. I typically don't like macaroons but loved these macaroons! The cookies were so soft and the perfect amount of frosting. Everything was so delicious I was pleasantly surprised. The server was so knowledgable about teas and made the experience absolutely delightful! Sit at a table outside for the best pictures!
