Absolutely loved this place. Very cozy and energizing atmosphere. The layout is really nice and service was great. We had happy hour on Sunday and got mussels oysters and margaritas. All were great.

Food was amazing! Probably the best Crab Asiago dip & scallops I've ever tasted. Highly recommend the salmon as well. Unfortunately we had to interrupt our waiters acting career (or something) so he could serve us. Took 25 minutes to get drinks after we were seated on an empty Tuesday. "They're working on your wine"...hum? Might be worth the wait, dunno. Definitely casual vibe, but once the food actually arrived it was exceptional.

We went to Max Gill & Grill last night, and we have a fantastic time. The interior setup and overall atmosphere transported us out of Colorado to some undefined coastal town. It was cozy. Our server was friendly and fast, checking in frequently. The drinks were great, and the food was delicious. We tried the crab dip and the char-grilled oysters for our starter and the lobster Mac & Cheese and a lobster roll for our main dish. All of those items were fantastic, although the crab dip could have used some more bread. We've already decided that we'll be back soon.

Great atmosphere and vibe and decor, super yummy food, and cheap boozy drinks. Can't go wrong here. The seafood is exceptional (my scallops were BOMB and even my mom who doesn't like clam chowder LOVED the clam chowder). This is a great restaurant and I uifhky recommend it to anyone. All our food was well portioned and delicious - a French dip, scallop risotto, roasted chicken, and clam chowder.

We had a wonderful dinner as a group of 6. They took our reservation in advance and our table was ready. The server, Jeremy I believe, was absolutely fantastic. He made the outing such a pleasure with his helpfulness, attention, and friendly nature. The food was also very good. We literally tried half the menu (happy hour FTW) and especially liked the oysters, mussels, and shrimp apps. The lobster roll was solid as a main, and the mac-n-cheese was delish. Highly encourage folks to give this place a try.

First service was great, some hick ups happened but our server Jeremy who calls himself Steve, ha, remedied them and was very cool. Love the atmosphere and enjoyed the summertime smash drink. Grilled and Fried calamari both delicious, fried a little better for obvious reasons. Parmesan truffle fries definitely enjoyable. Fish tacos, ok. Crab cakes, ok. Was told the BBQ ribs were delicious. Roasted mushroom side, delicious. Desserts were really good.
I'm only visiting but I would definitely come visit again. Good people here.

Had our company Holiday party at Max's. Beth was a fabulous party coordinator and helped fit things into our budget and was great with recommendations. Food and service were outstanding! Our server Colin was excellent, attentive and funny. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the swordfish. Both dishes were excellent with the fish and chips not being over battered and sized right. The swordfish was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Cocktails were balanced, refreshing, and pretty cheap especially compared to similar resturants. Parking isnt bad if you get down there early but they do have valets and well. We dont get down to that area often but will definitely be back!

Delicious parm fries. The Benedicts are awesome. Skillets were tasty, but take a bit longer so everyone else at the table had to eat their food a little cold while they waited. The lobster rolls are good, I don't eat bread but everyone said it was really tasty, like a brioche with a rich buttermilk taste. It's overpriced imo though. Atmosphere is classic New England coastal tavern- warm string lights, lots of wood, our table had a beautiful boat rope wrap. And there's a tiki lounge out back with some putt putt. Biggest complaint is that the turnover from night to morning didn't seem very coherent- our table was full of crumbs, they didn't have enough menus for everyone, there was only toilet paper in one stall, and only paper towels in one dispenser.

Good truffle fries and tuna poke. The lobster roll was also delicious. They have gluten-free buns to put any of your sandwiches on. Our server Kyle was fabulous!

Just had a wonderful family anniversary dinner here and we will definitely be back! Everything we got was delicious (including the cocktails), the service was excellent, and the happy hour oysters were great! I’m celiac so I sometimes understandably have trouble when trying new restaurants, but they were very accommodating and the GF peanut butter pie dessert was really fantastic! Thank you!!!

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Had a bit of a late dinner but that did not affect service or quality of food at all. We sat at a table in the bar and Eriq took great care of us. For the quality of food, I thought prices were reasonable. Oysters on happy hour were a deal and were delicious. Laid back, homey vibe. Will be back

I went in alone and had a wonderful meal. Katie was an excellent server. Very knowledgeable about the local area. Great steak and grilled shrimp. The ribs were on special so I tried them too, excellent!

My boyfriend & I came here on a whim yesterday because we just couldn't resist bottomless wings and 1/2 off whiskeys, and this place did not disappoint. The vibe was cool, we sat outside in the atrium, which was open to the patio but blocked from the wind. There were string lights all over the patio & in the trees, it was very pretty. We came around 5:30 and didn't have to wait at all for a booth, and our waiter was super friendly & attentive. We never had an empty plate of wings in front of us, and the whiskey list was long & delicious. We will definitely be back to try out more of their menu and more of their whiskey.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! The blue crab dip was soooo delicious! We were a little disappointed in the tuna poke - not much flavor. I had the Mahi with lobster sauce, lobster risotto and spicy corn. It was fabulous!!! My husband had the bbq ribs with their spicy bbq sauce. They were moist, tender and fell off the bone. Our server was wonderful. She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We will be back!

Best surf and turf restaurant in Denver area! Management is top notch! Especially Kevin. Kevin is the top tier of managers in the service industry. Crawfish boil is amazing. Awesome atmosphere, good music and food is 5 star. All staff is the best!

The food looks amazing but I wouldn't know if it actually is because I never got mine. I never take the time to write a bad review but I have never left a restaurant without eating. I feel like everything was chaos and don't blame my server, they were super sweet and doing the best they could. It seems like there was a complete breakdown in organization and management. They didn't have enough cups. My server asked how to fix it but I was over it and left. Now I'm at a different restaurant giving them my money! Give your your staff the support they need, and cups.

Fabulous lunch! Yummy peel and eat shrimp with perfect seasoning, tasty crab cakes, but the Parmesan truffle fries with aioli were to die for!! Next time I'll just get those and one of the excellent desserts. LOL. JJ was our server and he was very nice and took good care of us. We also love their dinner choices - the fish is always fresh and delicious. We always enjoy our meals there.

I love a good Benedict...I’m a Benedict snob actually. Their crab cake Benedict rivals the best I’ve ever had. The service is just as good and the drinks never disappoint. We will return time and time again.
