Five of us had an amazing taste experience last Friday evening. We sampled over 12 items, sharing, laughing and enjoying every bite! We decided that you can probably just close your eyes and point at anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed. The owner/chef was so hospitable and shared his love of ingredients and prep that went into each dish. A definite "return here soon" place!!
New favorite spot in Denver. What a concept. They cater to both meat and veggie folks. Usually u find a place with one veggie option, but here the vegetarian will have to make a choice from multiple deliciousness. Wine list is excellent as well as sours on tap! Top notch staff. Great environment. Come see what everyone is raving about!
This place was pretty good. Not like the best ever, but pretty good. My husband got the green chile poutine, but it was very wet. I got the brisket dip, and it was good. The staff were all very nice, if maybe not the fastest. And the restaurant seemed a little empty and quiet for a Saturday night.
Food was great and menu had a good variety of options. Drinks were very good! Service was a little slow because we waited longer than expected given we were one of 4 groups in the restaurant, but it may have been because of the amount of staffing at that time (12-1pm on a Thursday).
Nice place for brunch. I would recommend it for anyone in the area looking for some brunch. I tried the eggs Benedict and have definitely had better. The atmosphere was relaxed with indoor seating and patio seating along with indoor bar and outdoor bar seating. I will definitely have to come back to try more of the items on the menu.
Atmosphere for brunch was great and great deal for bottomless mimosas! The breakfast burrito was a bit hard to bite into on the ends due to so much tortilla and not enough sauce. But overall was good!
I put off writing this review for a few days as I wanted to think on it and not immediately post out of frustration. But my feelings haven’t changed.
We were visiting Denver for about 4 days and we stayed right across the street from this restaurant. One night we left the kids and went out to eat. 2 adults only. As we were walking up to the restaurant at 8pm we noticed an employee cleaning up the patio which we then asked them if they were open. The gentleman confirmed they were indeed open. I know it was a Wednesday night, and I know that downtown Denver is not what it use to be, but when we went in we were the only ones there.
We should have left then and came back at a busier time but we didn’t. From 8-9pm it all went down hill. Drinks were ordered first and then food.
Food was ok and concept is great. Pig on one side of the menu and vegan in the other. I just couldn’t help feeling like we were getting in the way of closing.
We did get our food and it was fine. We also got a second order of drinks with a “fare warning” that the bar was closed.
Final straw was asking for Dessert and being told the kitchen was closed for the night. Lose lose !!!! And all of this is happening before 9pm!! The waitress seemed to not care at all and definitely became more and more annoyed as the dinner went on. Like I said it started out great and the quickly turned bad.
Telling customers you are open until 10pm and then closing down by 9pm is frustrating. I feel like the employees should have told us from the start what the plan was for that night.
Stopped by here right when they opened at 11 after getting off the train from union station. Delicious burger. The brisket dip was so good my husband inhaled it before I could get a good picture 😂
Enjoyed our waiter Seanny, our tacos were delicious and fresh and our drinks were great. Craft margarita!
The staff took our party of 6 very well, and handled all of our requests easily. The jalapeno cornbread was amazing, I got them to put grenadine and cherries in my diet Coke, which was great. The menu is awesome and it's cool that they have so many vegan and vegetarian options. I got the tofu lettuce wraps and those were really good but hard to pick up. The servers were very friendly and helpful. And the price was great.
If you need a place where there are options for people with or without dietary restrictions, but also have great tasting food for a decent price The Pig & The Sprout is the way to go. Food & service was great, quick to get seated and helped, all while great music played in the background .
Our service was wonderful! Super quick and friendly. The food was really tasty. The ribs were a little dry but nothing too crazy. Still yummy. I loved the cold brew martini. I’d love to come back and try different dishes.
