Overall, a great spot. The IPA was up there in our HO... brisket sandwich and “old bag” pastrami were delicious. My daughter’s Margh Simpson Pizza needed another minute to crisp up. My wife was shocked by the house salad, even by Cali standards. Loved it! And, not as crowded on a Friday night... (Rockies game???)

Underrated. Pizza is incredible, never had a bad beer, their Pilsner won a medal and is sooooo easy to drink, and their staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Love their patio!

The most down to earth brewery I've experienced! Great food and equally awesome customer service. They don't try super hard to impress you they just treat you as a friend and hold a conversation without seeming like they are working super hard to earn a tip. Which I loved, no fake stuff just good stuff 😉

Great food!!!!! Lowdown Brewery has the best outdoor patio in Denver, we loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant as well and then of course, there's the beer - no words to describe it!

This is our local hang out and one of our favorite places in the city - Great Beer (it is a brew pub after all, so the selection is broad and is always changing), Healthy and Delicious Pub food, Fantastic, UpBeat and Welcoming staff - We are here no less than weekly. It is a big place with a patio, so you can always find a seat AND parking in the city.

I'm visiting Colorado and went here on my last night and loved everything. The hard kombucha was amazing. The beer cheese appetizer was awesome. I absolutely loved the Prosciutto and pesto sandwich which I added chicken to and had with a side of fries. Awesome spot for some good food.

Didn’t come for the beers. Wife wanted some broccoli and she loves bread and anything cheese. When I saw their “You’re F@#king Welcome app I knew my wife would love it. Just a simple platter of Roasted broccoli, apple slices, and some fresh bread all to dip into a homemade beer cheese which is one of the best I’ve ever had. We both got salads which we enjoyed. The Caesar dressing on mine was a little on the lemony side and didn’t really taste like Caesar but still good.

Went on a Friday just after they opened and there were plenty of open tables...but an hour later and they were packed!! We sat at the bar and enjoyed the waiter - who shared that they had been there for eight years. Very knowledgeable about the business, the beer and food options...as well as being extremely personable:) We tried the cheese dip and bacon wrapped figs from the appetizer menu before dining on the pizza - all were exceptional!! Beer choices were all their own label - and all were awesome. I appreciated that he offered a sample(s) to help me with my selection. Loved the Blood Orange the most but the Pale Ale and Porter were also tasty!! Fun environment and art...easy parking for an early lunch. Will go again and can't believe we hadn't tried them sooner

We came across this place as we headed into downtown Denver to see the holiday lights. This restaurant has many menu options for food and craft awesome beer. It appears to be more adult friendly than for families because of the adult beverages. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. It felt LGBTQ + friendly as well. The service was exceptional as our waiter was attentive and inviting. The crafted brews are unique and quite flavorful. There are many choices with high ABV. They offer growlers for their craft beers. The prices are very reasonable! We will be back! I highly recommend this place for a casual drink and great food!

First time trying Lowdown! Gotta say it was pretty solid on all fronts. Good beer selection, tasty food menu, and spacious and shaded outdoor patio area. Hard to ask for more!

4.5/5 specific Really cool spot with great, affordable beers. This place also has a good kitchen - with expensive sandwiches I’m subjectively not super into since they all have some sort of horseradish on them. Outdoor + Indoor seating though which is a plus!

My favorite local brewery. I've lived in the area for 15 years and we always frequent this place. The pizza is fantastic and the beers are top notch. Great atmosphere and service, and they have a ton of games you can play behind the bar. They also have some nice outdoor seating. Highly recommend

Happened across this place trying to find a local haunt in Denver. It did not disappoint! Staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was sensational. I recommend the G Love Pizza or the Basil Pesto sandwich. They also have a really good whiskey peach tea if you like sweet drinks.

The service and ambiance was pretty good. The gluten-free create-your-own pizza was delicious, but they forgot the pineapple I ordered. Before we paid, the service was rather attentive, but throughout (and especially after we paid), water refills were scarce, even though we were sitting around for another hour and change after paying. I'll probably be back--it was a good venue for a group dinner, and I appreciated that it wasn't very loud.

YOU WILL BE MISSED! I walk by most afternoons between 4:30 and 5:30 and I fantasize about grabbing a table on your patio. I resist most days but you are a wonderful neighborhood spot and I always enjoy the food and drink when I visit. Best of luck to your entire staff and thank you for being a part of Capitol Hill for so many years.

Get it while you can! Unfortunately Lowdown has lost their lease and will be forced to relocate in December (if they can find a suitable space)! Their hazy IPA is worth the stop, and other beers are great too! Hummus, sandwiches and pizzas are fresh and tasty. Staff is always fun and friendly. Just a frequent visitor to Denver but will miss Lowdown…Go and support while you can!

This place was OK — nothing special. 3 of us had personal pizzas. With a soft drink it was $20 for one person. Prices in Denver — the US really — are completely out of hand.

It was a great experience ✨. The whole vibe was super chill and the bartender/waiter was very sweet and attentive~ the food. OMG. I was lucky to come on the day they launched the new menu~ Loved all the names and the ingredients I saw there! I had the Shut Up! You Old Bag. It was finger licking delicious~ the crowd’s favorite Devils on the Horseback was 💯. I had a wheat beer that was brewed with grapefruit~ loved everything I got. Hands down will come here again. They have a small included fee contributing to kitchen staffs’ living wage, which I was happy to pay for!
