Food was top notch ! Best oysters I've had in Colorado. Attentive waitstaff, lobster roll was a little pricey, but was all lobster meat, not a lot of fillers. Clam fritters and crab cake Benedict were very good. Bloody Mary comes with shrimp and an oyster on the 1/2. A bit pricey to be a regular stop but a definite treat once in awhile.

This is an excellent place for Brunch, Lunch and dinner and reasonabley priced. Service is excellent. This is my second time here and will becoming back. Food is superb. Appetizers: The Octopus with chorizo appetizer is delish. The grilled oysters are very good. Oysters Rockefellers are perfect light on the spinach with a delicious lemon hollandaise sauce. Raw oyster bar is great. Entree Fried Clam strips Grilled Halibut delicious. Great cocktails and wine list. Great place.

For over a decade, I have been a devoted patron of Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood since I relocated to this area. Although I cannot frequent this establishment as often as I would like, the culinary experience never fails to impress. From succulent oysters to luxurious caviar, every dish is a true delight. Moreover, the lobster salad is simply exceptional. However, what truly elevated my visit was the remarkable bartender from Romania. Despite not having a great day, his pleasant demeanor and exceptional service made all the difference. It is without a doubt that I will return to this haven of gastronomy many more times in the future.

Well another amazing Thanksgiving dinner in the memory bank and it was all enjoyed at the Blue Island Oyster. The price point is pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We enjoyed drinks, appetizers, and entrées. All were great and full of flavor and the preparation was on point.

Extremely satisfying dinner date! Great selection of entrees and appetizers - we had the deviled eggs and they were delicious. My husband got the Salmon Oscar and he loved it besides the sauce and enjoyed the real crab in the crab cake. I focused on the oyster bar and their wonderful selection! We will be back~

We had some yummy dishes off the happy hour! The Curry Cauliflower was amazing! Great flavors. Sounds silly but you'll need to ask for a spoon, not sure why they don't serve it with one because you'll want the sauce! Our waiter John was decent but Brent or Bret (I'm sorry I can't remember which one it was) went above and beyond for us. He gave us ever thing we needed and even told us how we could make our experience better for the next time we came! We ordered some shared dishes, lobster roll and the salmon salad. Apparently they will split the meals for you! So just ask! The atmosphere was great, super chill with a killer soundtrack playing!

This place is top notch !! As a Chilean and someone who grew up in Connecticut surrounded by fresh seafood this place is a god send ! I live in the Springs and drive over an hour just to come here for the fresh oysters lobster roll and clams. The best Bloody Mary and roasted oysters !! Their happy hour is the best I’ve ever attended. Even when I haven’t had a reservation they always seem to be able to squeeze us in at the last minute. The presentation and atmosphere here is amazing. The only time I’ve ever been sad here is when they run out of clams.

Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood in Cherry Creek District. Appetizers ordered: Ricotta Gnocchi Truffle Mornay, Parmesan, Chives Thai Curry Mussels Yellow Coconut Curry, Cilantro, Ciabatta Bread Grilled Spanish Octopus Chorizo Vinaigrette, Crispy Potato Entrees ordered, Fried Jumbo Wild Gulf Shrimp Served with House Made Slaw, Fresh Dill Tartar Sauce Ahi Tuna Taco Wasabi Slaw, Ponzu Clam Chowder Soup Review, The place has an upscale feel and was not too busy for a Saturday. Plenty of staff but that being said service was just ok. Appetizers were good. The Octopus was probably the most disappointing. The presentation was odd but the mix of potatoes just did not work. The Gnocchi was quite good... denser than I preferred but the cheese flavoring was excellent. The Thai Mussels were excellent. If you go just for that it's a win. The clam chowder was great, shrimps were good but the breading they used was a little off. I would have preferred more of a panko type breading but that's me. The tacos were good. Over all I left there full but at 65.00 roughly per person for lunch not sure if it lived up to the hype.

We stopped in for a Friday afternoon happy hour. We ordered some sliders, fries, oysters and clam chowder, the food was all good. We ordered several glasses of wine, all were tasty and a good value. My only suggestion is drying your wine glasses with a microfiber wine glass towel instead of a kitchen towel, three of the five glasses of wine we received were clearly dried with a regular kitchen towel. That was not ideal.

LUNCH & Oyster Review: Denver, CO We made reservations on a Monday - specials were $1 Oysters! First I’d say $1 or $3 the oysters were amazing! Here are some delicious items we’ve ordered and I do not have a SINGLE COMPLAINT! Apps: Thai curry mussels *Sliders: Burger Slider, Crispy Fish Slider, Teriyaki Salmon Slider (my FAV). *Tacos: Fish Taco, Ahi Tuna Taco (my FAV). *Oysters of course - all were delicious! *Oyster shooters! I would certainly come back and try dinner someday - I personally live in Wisconsin so next time I’m in Denver we’ll do another visit! Also our server was so amazing as well!

Went in for a random Saturday HH and had a blast. Sat at the bar next to an elderly gentleman and it turns out he’s a famous actor in town to screen a movie. Also saw other regulars whom the staff treat like family. Such a fun spot for fresh oysters, clams and yummy cocktails!
