Outstanding. My wife and I went here for dinner last minute on a whim for our 4th anniversary in Denver after struggling to decide on where we wanted to go, and boy were we ecstatic with the results we had. We called ahead for a reservation and were asked if we were celebrating anything. Informed them it was our anniversary, and we were greeted with custom menus stating happy anniversary on them. A subtle, but nice touch to add to the day. The server we had was just excellent, friendly and engaging in just enough conversation to entertain, but knowing not to stay too long as to interrupt our evening. I sadly forgot his name. We started with a cold platter of Shrimp, Oysters and Lump Crab. Everything was perfect, and perhaps some of the best shrimp I've ever had! For soups she had a Clam Chowder, and myself a Pumpkin soup. Very different and consumed to the last drop. Dinner was a Shrimp Scampi for the Mrs. and a Crab encrusted Salmon for myself. This was easily one of the best seafood dinners I've had. Also, they were having a promotion for 2 5oz Lobster tails for $39, so we decided why not and added them. These were not overcooked and miles better than the fair you find at chain restaurants, worth every penny. Lastly, as a gift for our anniversary, they gave us a complimentary Baked Alaska for dessert which was a fun way to round out the meal (I mean, who doesn't like a fire show with dinner?). Overall, this was one of the best nights we've ever had out and will definitely return if we find ourselves in Denver.

Food was amazing!! Excellent service!! Definitely a place to try. Unique seafood options. The menu looks different daily!! Chef creates new dishes daily. I would definitely return again!!

Went in for my birthday. They surprised me with a free dessert. The server was very knowledgeable and the food was amazing. First time trying swordfish. My husband isn’t one for fish, but he loved everything.

I had family visiting from out of town and while downtown, we decided to check the Oceanaire out. We didn’t have a reservation...but we were still seated immediately. Apparently the trick is to time visiting here after a show has already started at the Denver Center. I lived in Maryland for over 10 years....so I know crab cakes. These were hands down some of the best crab cakes I’ve had! The crab meat to breading ratio was definitely on point! I had the swordfish and my relative had the halibut. Both were seasoned and cooked magnificently. Fish was still very moist and tasted absolutely delicious. Not too fishy! Service was amazing. Drinks were always kept topped off. Our waitress was very friendly and gave some awesome recommendations. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. Hands down, some of the best seafood I’ve had in the Denver area! Highly recommend!

Thomas was an incredible waiter, the food was delicious and the environment was so romantic. I had a great secluded table and my experience was amazing. I would highly recommend The Oceanaire to couples. I wish I could give more stars.

The food was really good. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were adequate and the desert was great. The service Was also excellent. When the manager checked in on us, we stated that we'd finally decided on our orders. He took the orders by himself instead of wasting time to get our waiter. He was very pleasant and came by to say good night before leaving. Our waiter was professional, accommodating, and interesting.

The most luxurious experience from start to finish. When in Denver I recommend giving this place a shot . The staff is attentive and knowledgeable on all menu items as well as brilliant at recommending just the right hand crafted off menu cocktail for you. The seafood is superb but even if you go with the streak you can't go wrong. Trust me :-)

Fantastic service! Incredibly attentive and friendly. We wanted for nothing, drinks were always full and food was coming out in an incredibly well timed fashion. All questions were easily answered and recommendations given without hesitation.

Very delicious. I am from Houston and the thing I miss the most from back home is the fresh seafood. This place has the freshest seafood I have tasted since I have moved here (I've been here for 20 years) . According to Tomas, our server, the seafood is no more than 18 hours out of the water. The crab cake was the best I've had in many years. The mixed grill was also delicious and plated well. The scallops were perfectly seared. I noticed people commenting on the length of time for various things. We had a concert to be at by 7:30 and communicated that to Tomas. Our reservation was at 5:30 and we were out by 7. My advice would be to communicate your needs before hand and they will do their best to meet your needs. The atmosphere was very enjoyable. The only thing I was not impressed with was the laughing shrimp louie. The shrimp were overcooked, but as I said before, everything else was very delicious.

The majority of the food was excellent but we weren't a fan of the lobster bisque. It was creamy and loaded with Sherry but no lobster or anything with texture. We were disappointed. I ordered the mixed grill for dinner and it was absolutely delicious!!! Unfortunately the service was lacking. Our server had a bit of an attitude and we actually had to leave before before our food was served because we had tickets to the symphony. We waited an hour after we ordered and still no food. We ended up asking them to hold our food for us and we picked it up after the symphony and brought it home. Big disappointment!

This is the second time that we have had such poor service. One of the reasons we would go to this restaurant was for the highly competent and responsive service. Once again our server's name tag had no name; a clear sign of not being experienced with the restaurant. Our cocktails and drinks were very slow in being served. Our appetizer plate and my Individual plate was never picked up, I had to put it to the side on the bench. Our server didn't serve our dinner which is poor for this restaurant. My client was served an appetizer of the scallops but I was charged $40 for a scallop dinner. My fish was very thin and too well done; and my husband's halibut didn't smell fresh. Once again our plates were left to get cold when we were done and the manager had to finally pick them up. We used to love going to this place and wanted to make a good impression with our clients, this was not the case that evening. I do not recommend taking any business clients.

Staff was really friendly. Our waiter, Christian, was very attentive and friendly. Offered great recommendations on food. It was on of our birthdays and the person whom I believe was the manager got us a baked Alaska dessert on the house which was very nice of them to do. I ordered the filet mignon with shrimp. Probably one of if not the best steak dinner I've ever had. Definitely recommend it for special occasions/anniversaries/romantic dinners.

One of my favorite places ... The service is impeccable. The staff makes you feel like a million bucks. The drinks are divine. The food is amazing. I recommend the Macarron Martini and The Mojito Martini. They make the most delicious balsamic dressing for the tomato and mozzarella salad. You can't go wrong with the Crab Cakes or the Shrimp Cocktail.
