Review Hopdoddy Burger Bar - Denver

Best vegetarian burger. Nice and crispy yet tasty. Tried vegetarian burger with pepper jack cheese and also Diablo with vegetarian patty, both versions are great. Diablo is very spicy. French fries are nice and crispy. Would definitely recommend for vegetarians. Not too many choices, but what they have is tasty and plenty. Right next to the Union Station, street parking is available nearby.

Popped into this top-notch burger spot in central Denver. Brilliant location, loads of tasty burger options, great drinks, friendly staff. Best bit? Surprisingly good prices for downtown Denver. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing burger with various flavors. Tried Diablo chicken burger which was delicious and it was spiciest one I have had so far. Friendly service and good ambiance. The hand cut fries were good too but a lot on salty end. Will highly recommend to visit!

Very, very good! The sandwiches and burgers were very tasty. We didn't try the fries. Good price, choice of beer, lots of gluten free options including buns. Every meal has an estimated calorie range as well. A place to come back to!

Service at the bar was great. Tried the honey sage loaded brussel sprouts. They weren't what I was expecting, more like a crispy salad, but still tasty. As a rule, most spicy menu items just aren't, but the El Diablo Burger was up to the task. I found decent sized chunks of habanero inside, yum. Also can't beat the half price on everything (when you sit at the bar) happy hour!!

Good location right next to Union Station. Burgers and fries are always good. Make sure to take a look at their burger of the month and any other seasonal items! They have bar seating and outdoor seating in addition to indoor booths and high top tables.

I had lunch with a colleague at Hopdoddy. I hadn’t been here before, but really enjoyed it! Their parm & truffle fries are amazing, and the burger I had was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely be back to Hopdoddy, especially since it’s a short walk from my office.

Really great atmosphere and great burger options. Would like the burgers themselves to have a little more flavor/seasoning, but the toppings make up for it. The fries and dipping options are great!

Got the shroom burger. It was cooked well and very tasty. I may skip the pesto next time tho. Only complaint is the hamburger pattie was smaller than the bun. I like my meat slightly larger than the buns so I'm not eating too much bread. Aside from that service was friendly and atmosphere chill vibe.

Located quite nearby the Union Station this place has some amazing burgers. I tried the El Diablo burger and the sauce was something I’ve never tasted before. Perfectly cooked to medium rare, the burger was also very filling. Very casual atmosphere on a weekday evening. Would highly recommend 👍🏽

Hopdoddy offers truly exceptional food, leaving a lasting impression that guarantees my return. The flavors and quality of the dishes are commendable. However, while the food is a highlight, I can't help but wish for better vibes. The atmosphere could use a boost to match the excellence of the cuisine. Despite this, the outstanding food alone makes Hopdoddy a place worth revisiting for a delightful culinary experience.

This was a great lunch! I'm not a big fan of burgers like my husband, so they offered several other choices. I had the Aha Tuna, it was prepared perfectly. The flavor combination they came up with was so delicious. Hubby had the classic. He said it was really good also. We were going to share fries so we got the large size. It was more than enough (we could have feed 4 more people). Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and music was not too loud. We could actually hear each other.

My girlfriend and I wound up here on a whim just to have a few drinks while we were on vacation and in the area. I know that this place specializes in burgers and that is what they're known for, but unfortunately we didn't eat here. What we did do was drink, and to be honest I am glad that we just randomly stopped in here. Since we were here during the week on vacation we were able to venture in to places while mostly everyone was still at work, so it made for a quick and easy in and out pretty much everywhere. It also meant that there was little to no wait here, or anywhere else really for that matter. The restaurant itself was pretty much empty both times that we popped in here (because it was the middle of the day during the middle of the week), and to be honest it was pretty great. We pretty much had the bar to ourselves, and it just made for a super easy going experience overall. This restaurant is clean, modernly decorated, and the employees are friendly, professional, and extremely efficient. Perhaps the best part about stopping in here to drink, was drinking. The beer was fresh, super cold, and comes in very, very large margarita style glasses. They also serve several local beers, which I think is super important when it comes to these larger chain style restaurants. When all is said and done, I personally think this place is pretty great (especially for being a decent sized chain style establishment). That's why we continued to go back over the few days that we were in town. To be completely honest, the only reason I didn't give this location a fifth star was because I didn't have a chance to try the food, and the food is such a big integral part of this operation. What I do know is that when I am back in town again (whenever that may be) I won't hesitate to stop in here, with the intention of not only drinking but also slamming some burgers into my meat trough. Wanted a nice burger for my last evening in Denver, the place did not disappoint, I had a simple classic burger that was absolutely delicious and some sweet potato fries. I would really like to come back with friends to share some of the fries variations they are proposing.

I was so unbelievably happy to find this place! I’m allergic to both gluten and corn. I was able to have a great burger with a great bun, eat the homemade fries with ketchup and get a fountain drink. Everything tasted top notch! If you have allergies this place is a dream and if you don’t, it still has amazing burgers! Their fry options are to die for.

Sooooooo bummed! I have bragged to everyone that this place had the best burgers in D-town. We came down tonight & it has since become self-serve....aka sucks. It now feels like a fast food restaurant. You basically now have to wait on yourself. Went from an awesome burger joint to warm beer/drive downtown/pay for parking/wait on yourself. I would've just gone to Del Taco. Bad move, Hopdoddy. You were our fave...you just lost us.

How disappointing this used to be a really good place to eat and drink. They must be losing money they are cutting corners. Gone is the nice smelling soap in the bathroom, and no more waitstaff. Now you stand in line, order at the counter, pay and sit down. If you had any questions about the menu, go ahead and ask the foul mooded cashier with people standing behind you in line if you dare. Fast food service with sit down restaurant prices. The staff are miserable and unfriendly now. Understandably so, I'm sure they are not earning tips anymore. I am guessing the bar sales are suffering also, before if the waiter or waitress asked if you wanted another cocktail, it was easy to say yes, but I wouldn't get up, open another tab, pay again for another drink. The customers don't seem to like the new business model, I saw a few people walk in and leave. If you don't want to watch roller derby even though it's on two separate screens, management won't apologize they will just tell you no even if you do want to watch the CSU game. They have removed all the personalized service, I wonder how long until they put computers in to take your order. If they don't change back they won't be around much longer. We won't be returning. PS the one star is for the fact that the food still tastes good. PPS the sign says to wait in line, order food, then get a table, if you do that how can you give your cashier a table number??? This really doesn't make sense. I say poor management decision here. I hope you read your reviews and listen to your (ex) customers.

Me and my family are from Texas and we stopped here after we saw that touch screen sign recommend this place. WOW! Delicious burgers; equally delicious fries :D we all had bison burger because we've never tried it before and it was so juicy and had so much flavor. Our server was dylan? Mike? He's from the south? Overall great service from everyone we interacted with. We will definitely come back next year! Thank you all :P

I am really sad. I really loved this place! I had wanted to slowly try all their burgers over time, but now I won't be back. They have changed to a fully self service system. I liked to come here and hangout with friends before our board game nights, but now it just feels like they are trying to get you quickly out the door. This was also the first time my burger was not done properly. It wasn't just rare, it was raw. Besides my raw burger the food still is of the same quality for now...

Stopped in one day for a beer and looked at the menu. Decided to try lunch there the next day. I was not disappointed. I would certainly eat here again, and would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good burger.

Exceeded my expectations. Better than Crave, better than Buds, might be the best burger I have had. I had the Good Night Good Cause burger.

Stopped in on a recommendation. WOW! We had a group of 7 and all the burgers were amazing!! We all had 5 different burgers and everyone was a fabulous treat to the palette. The prickly pear martini was awesome as was the raspberry beer!!!! Can't wait to go back. Thank you for the amazing food.

Stopped in while we had a layover on the amtrack, I was very impressed with the food and the service. I had the Buffalo Bill bison burger and it was hands down the best burger I've ever had. I wish they would bring one to Omaha I would be a regular.

The boozy shake was amazing, seriously the small was just enough. The burgers were great except my 14yr old nephew wasn’t impressed with his burger even though us adults loved it. I was a little taken back at first about the self ordering, haven’t been to a place like that before. I will come back just without my nephew next time.
