We drive by this place pretty frequently and finally decided to stop by. I'm definitely glad we did. The ambiance of this place is chill. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! They have oysters on their happy hour menu and some crispy brussel sprouts, which hit the spot for our group. The entrees also varied at our table from the Humboldt Burger to the NY strip. Dessert was 🔥! I love apple pie. Just look at my video below... Everyone enjoyed their meal. Lastly, they have a great drink selection. Whether it's wine, beer, or martinis, they have it all. Our group had an awesome evening and we will be back very soon!

I love this place! The atmosphere is wonderful - they have indoor and outdoor seating. It’s clear this place is a hot spot in Denver, and it’s not a mystery why! The menu has something for everyone (highly recommend the crispy Brussels). The staff are all very kind and attentive. A must try!!!

A lovely neighborhood gem at East 17th and Humboldt Street (hence the name) with a casual and upscale interior, great food and friendly, attentive service. Went as a party of two on a Sunday evening for dinner and was seated in the atrium area in the back, which was lit nicely by the afternoon sun without the heat. Had the risotto and sole (both nice dishes), glass of wine and calamari appetizer, with sambal aioli, also very nice. Nice place for a date night with my wife. Plenty of tables and seats inside, and patio seating as well. Parking is meter parking on the street Recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised by Humboldt! Whoever the head chef is..... Kudos. Because this menu absolutely spectacular. We had a bunch of appetizers and let me tell you.... They were SO GOOD. The octopus was so en Pointe! The spicy ceviche (cod based) was very very tasty as well. The Brussel sprouts were surprisingly tasty as well. They even made for delicious leftovers. Damian was our server and he was awesome. Excellent menu knowledge. The atmosphere of the place was also quite nice. Usually we don't go back to the same place twice but we will be returning to try the entrees! Update 2/18/2023 - still amazing as the last time we went here! Food is still amazing, customer service is still excellent, atmosphere is lovely. We tried entrees this time and it was so delicious! The pork ribs were extremely fork tender! The crème brûlée was to die for! Update 8/19/2023 - sad to learn Humboldt Kitchen is closing due to a disagreement with the landlord and owners. We dined here last night for the last time. Everything, as usual, was delicious and amazing. Our server, Victoria, was also a lot of fun. We are going to miss coming here. It's been our favorite place to dine in and Humboldt is going to be very missed!

Absolutely amazing. Damian was an amazing host. We never actually made it last appetizers though. My wife had the octopus and the cevechie. Find her review here somewhere for pictures. I had the trout dip and the Brussel sprouts. Both amazing. We came back a few months later and again had an amazing meal again and actually made it to the main menu to eat! We are very sad to hear the are closing due to a disagreeable landlord. We visited again last night and we're not disappointed. Victoria was great! The Brussel sprouts were just like they have been every visit, and the Flat Iron steak was tender amazingly seasoned. We will miss Humboldt Kitchen! Final note, I hope the building owner who won't renewal their lease finds herself with incurable hangnail and cuticle problems daily until she comes to her senses, which could be the rest of her life. Losing Humboldt in that area is big hit to the neighborhood. Greedy jerk!

This is the spot if you are in uptown for a date night. New York Strip* And a mac and cheese with sausage The food is excellent! The host are the friendliest neighbors, they treat you like family. If you live near by ask about discounts!

Wonderful place situated in a nice quaint neighborhood. I only was able to try the shareable crispy Brussels and charred octopus but oh man, so good! The Brussels served is a mountain of food and very tasty! Nice and crispy even though they have some caramelization. The octopus was cooked perfectly as well and the potatoes surrounding the octopus were seasoned perfectly and had a nice crunch. Very well done dishes and I can't wait to try more on the menu the next time I visit. Staff were also very pleasant!

Scratch (mostly) menu with a reasonable variety of items on the menu for most appetites, including steaks, seafood, salads and sandwiches, with unique appetizers and delicious desserts. My crew loved their dinner, and it somehow felt fancier in Humboldt's atmosphere. Hope provided top notch service. We left feeling satisfied, satiated and happy. High marks from me for Humboldt.

Amazing drinks and food! Our server was very kind and attentive! Along with the host. I did not realize how spacious the space is either!! I was hesitant to try the charred octopus because I’ve only ever had good octopus once. It was amazing!!

Met up with some friends over the holidays here and it was a great experience. This place has been an original staple of the 17th street scene and really specializes in fish dishes. That said, we actually didn't order any fish dishes, it was lunch time and I was craving the cheese steak while my fiance was craving the Cajun Chicken Pasta. Both dishes were pretty tasty, our server Blaire was also really attentive, nice, and knowledgeable, thank you Blaire!
