The food and the drinks were amazing! They had a flight of whiskey and a flight of milk for the little kids sooo cute! It was on point! I had the brussel sprouts app and for dinner we order the fried chicken and the salmon. Very good meal! I’ll definitely recommend this place

Highly recommend the Friday sandwich special Reuben. Best sandwich i have ever eaten. A bit pricy but worth it. The lemon bar dessert is fantastic!
This place is great! Not only is the food amazing (the Mac n Chz is a must!), they have great outdoor patios, and excellent service. I highly recommend this awesome retro-diner!
Really like this diner. I have never had a bad meal here. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive. For a sandwich or burger this is my go to place.
Absolutely loved this place! The drinks were good, happy hour is on point, service was friendly, and the food was worth the drive!
One of our family friends brought in Steuben's Food Truck to the venue for the morning after our wedding and DANG was that the best gift ever. Steubens showed up with hot coffee and the absolute best hangover cure known to man - breakfast burritos, chili cheese fries, bacon, Stubie Snacks and much more. We were blown away by not only how delicious and convenient it was but also by how miraculously all of our hangovers were washed away! :) Thank you so much for delivering the most epic post wedding brunch! You come VERY highly recommended by us and our entire wedding party! Cheers!
It was great!!! Annie was our server and she was fantastic!! Food and drinks were great!! Highly recommend going here!

Loved the food!! Never disappoint! I had the Etouffee my hubby and cousin the Patty Melts which I had a bite of and they were delicious!
My son and his friend had the breakfast burritos which I did not get to try as they wolfed them down in record time! My drink was super strong which is always awesome!
Staff very accommodating, professional. They were able to sit a softball team, party of 20, with no reservations within 15 minutes. The girls were hungry and food was brought out within 10 minutes. Would definitely come back and will recommend them to anyone whom asks.
Great brunch food and spicy bloody. Margaret our server was fantastic and made the beginning of our bachelorette party wonderful!
Wow! This place rocks from the rooter to the tooter. Everything we ate was AMAZING. The mac and cheese, Buffalo wings, etouffee and fried chicken is what we had and shared. Fresh food, well-seasoned great customer service. I am angry that I have never been before. I will ALWAYS come back.
Loved the Mac & Cheese! Also the chicken & waffles were super yummy. Enjoyed dining on the patio. Server was very good.
we dined here as it was the closest restaurant to the mile high tree. superb customer service by Robbie. food was served hot! 😋 our first time trying Nashville fried chicken 🥵 spicy 😋 served with chicken gravy & mashed potatoes. we started with the brussel sprouts cooked beautifully & we would have preferred more seasonings on the sprouts. pleasantly surprised free parking was offered on site. loved heated patio. we were seated promptly wo reservations on a Friday night. we believe the prices were a bit high based on the type of food being offered. walking in our first impression of the atmosphere is coffee shop
I savored a brunch here, and it was an absolute delight. The menu was a masterpiece of flavors, and the Fried Chicken and Waffle left me craving more with every bite. The attentive staff, stunning presentation, and top-notch cocktails added to the wonderful experience. Don't miss out on this brunch haven, it's a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining adventure.
Stubens Uptown is an iconic venue in Downtown Denver, offering Stylish Upbeat American Comfort Cuisine. I stopped in with a friend for a light dinner, and cocktails. The menu is extensive, with numerous variations of Comfort Cuisine options.
If it is a desert you seek, Stubens will be your go-to venue as they entice patrons with their shakes, cakes, pies, ice cream, and the sugary like.
On this outing, I ordered the Crunch Burger, which is a thick smashed patty on a Tosted Brioche Bun, Stubens Special Sauce, Grilled Onions, Pickles and Swiss Chesse. I paired the burger with house fries to share and Sparks Fly Juicy IPA by Ratio Brewing.
My friend ordered the Cubano Sandwhich, which showcases Slow Cooked Pork Shoulder on a Pressed Tosted Bolillo Roll. The sandwhich also features Ham, Swiss Cheese, Pickles, Yellow Mustard, and Chimichurri. The paring choice here was the Basil Melon Patch, which includes Skyy Watermelon Vodka, Basil, Lime, Simple Suryp, and Soda.
The atmosphere at Stubens Uptown is lively, energetic, and upbeat even on a lazy Sunday evening. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and timely in their service.
If you are visiting Denver Stubens Uptown is a Must Go Experience! 💣💣

Visited this restaurant because it was on Diners, Dives, and Drive Throughs! It did not disappoint! I had the lobster roll, and it was fantastic. My friends ordered the fried chicken plate, and it was enough food for a small army. We also ordered the meatloaf, and it was outstanding! The Brussel sprouts for an app were amazing. The alcohol drinks were great! They also have milkshakes with alcohol.
Had brunch here and it was delicioussssssss. The donut holes were so good!
I had the breakfast sandwich with gyro meat and I recommend!
They also have a late night happy hour for a burger and beer for $11 and it hits the spot!
Steuben's is a classic café, with a modern twist. It’s a great place to enjoy delicious variety of food. This restaurant is very well put together, the ambient is great and the service is impecable. My friends and I enjoyed every moment of our time here. I highly recommend this place.
Excellent all over.
We ordered macaroni & cheese, pot roast, Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich, and fungi philly.
Everything was good. The pot roast was excellent, really well made and the meat falls off. The mushroom and gravy were really flavorful. The mac and cheese was okay. The chicken was excellent.
We also ordered the Brussel sprouts. They were good, and plentiful.
Service is really good here too. Communicative and helpful. The outside seating has heaters and it stayed warm despite it being cold outside.
I ordered the lobster roll and didn't care for it. I just don't think it is worth $35 more like a $12 sandwich. The fries and gravy were very yummy. My wife loved her chicken Greek salad. I'll have to try this place again.
I’ve eaten here twice in the past month with different guests and servers. I had the chicken sandwich both times because I can’t resist it. The servers were great and the hostess was very helpful when I requested a quiet table for a business meeting. I like the casual atmosphere and the location is convenient and centrally located with great parking considering its urban location. Guests were happy too.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Had the blueberry basil lemonade and it was so refreshing and basil forward. The Monte Cristo is the best one I've ever had! It was like a savory funnel cake batter on it with outstanding homemade raspberry jam. The meatloaf was juicy and the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness. The kids meal came with veggies and ranch in addition to another side, a drink and soft serve. The portions were very generous and the owner or manager was walking around and checking on tables which made the restaurant feel so welcoming. It was such a great Denver experience.
Wow this was an epic chicken and waffles. Perfect in all ways. It's everything I wanted it to be. Thank you for this delicious food. Side note: the drink was absolutely terrible... But I didn't care because the food was amazing.
Steuben's is an old stand by for comfort food in a classic diner style set-up. I had the BLT, and comrades had the Green Chillie Cheeseburger, Monte Cristo, and Fungi Philly. And Lydia was the best! Heard!
I was in town from Chicago, visiting a friend, who recommended the place. I didn't have high expectations, given that it seemed like the scores of greasy spoon diners we have in Chicago. But I was very impressed on all points.
Service: 5 stars. Excellent! I made a 6:30 Friday night reservation, but when I arrived on time, I learned my friend was running late. I had no idea how late, so I told the host & didn't expect to be seated until we were both there. Instead, they sat me right on time! Server came immediately & then again when my friend arrived. Food came quickly. Server checked in at appropriate times to see how we were and refill waters.
Food: 5 stars. I ordered the fried chicken plate. The chicken was moist and lovely without being greasy. Flavorful without being salty. Came with 3 pieces of chicken - more than I could eat and worth the price. Loved the biscuit and the server asked if I wanted the raspberry jam with the biscuit - yes! It was delicious. Mashed potatoes were nothing to rave about, but were solid. Only wish they had more beers on tap.
Ambiance: Loved the dark wood vibe with industrial ceilings and warm lighting. Quite a bit elevated from the greasy spoon diners I'm used to! This would be a regular hang out for me if I lived in town.
This place is retro. You can tell they haven't did much upgrades to the place. The food was great. They make everything from scratch.
First time here, there was a woman and her daughter ahead of us the hostess asked them did they prefer inside or outside seating. When it was our turn to be seated we weren’t offered either or, she was just leading us to a table inside. I asked if we could be seated outside she sort of huffed and made a face, like a scowl which caught us both off guard. She ended up giving us a table outside and said “we’re just waiting for a few servers to come in”. Which is cool but why did u offer the white woman an option of inside or outside? Whatever moving on. My boyfriend and I got the Chicken and waffles they were amazing. The chicken was very seasoned the waffles were fluffy. He got a mimosa, which he said was good. I got a hot chocolate which was soooo bitter I couldn’t even drink it. The server came to the table a few times, including the time I asked for the check my hot chocolate was just about still full and she didn’t acknowledge it. So that coupled with the hostess is why I gave the service 3 stars. But again, the food was good, simple drink like hot chocolate, disgusting service I can’t really say I didn’t have the best service experience.
Update September 2023:
In Denver again and stopping at Steubens is a must. The food is always delicious and never a letdown ever. The staff is warm & welcoming along with being on top of your table. There are so many choices, even happy hour meals too. First, the best chocolate milkshake I've ever tasted big-time. Little brother loves the Big Big Breakfast Burrito, and I tried the cheeseburger with bacon, Avocado, Onion with Mayo on brioche bun with fries.
The milkshake was spot on yummy and tons of it to boot. Brother loved his burrito as it's so large he couldn't eat it all or the milkshake interfered with his meal, lol. The cheeseburger was charbroiled, and all the toppings made it so delicious.
If you have never been here, you're missing out. Just ask Guy Fieri from Triple D.
See yall next year, thanks for such a delightful place to eat and enjoy ourselves.
Great old diner feel, the food is scumptous and staff is very attentive.
Chocolate milkshake is a must along with gravy fries.
We tried this place because the menu was intriguing and it was close to our hotel and concert venue. But, we were really happy with everything we ordered. It's all just upscale pub grub--but done very well. We had the cheese curds, steak frites, and fried chicken, with a whiskey blackberry smash, rock and rye, and pomegranate Cosmo to drink. The steak was cooked perfectly, the chicken delightfully crisp, and the homemade raspberry jam that accompanied the biscuits perfect. Unfortunately, they won't sell you a jar of the jam--we asked--it was that good.
So maybe I'm being a little biased because I was hungry and on vacation but this place was a 10/10. I had the lobster rolls it was some of thee juiciest lobster I've ever had the rolls were toasted to perfection and the butter literally was melting in my mouth. We also had the cheese steak and the quality of cheese and beef was oozing off the bun. the gravy fries weren't my favorite but still incredible if you're in Denver definitely put Steuben's on the itinerary.
A converted garage upscale diner that is a Denver staple. Very well known for their chicken and waffles and Nashville chicken. They have a full bar and a wide variety of beers. A nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating
I have tried the green chili cheeseburger as well as the Nashville Hot Chicken and the chicken and waffles. All were very good.
They have a large variety of gluten-free options and I believe a gluten-free menu.
Also they make their own ice cream and have an amazing selection of many different desserts. Make sure you order every one.
