The food was amazing! The atmosphere was great! Although, it was pretty loud to try and have a conversation. The drinks were great and it was fun to see them be made. And of course going through a bookcase was great. It was great for the experience to try, Was pricey. We had 2 drinks, the bone marrow, and crab artichoke dip.

Amazing cocktails, friendly and skilled wait staff. It's best to have reservations, but they will accommodate walk-ins if possible. Remember, you exit opposite of where you entered, out the back. Save yourself the embarrassment.

May quite possibly be the best, most thoughtful and well balanced cocktail I have ever had. We enjoyed the ambiance, service from Marshall (who treated us like we were old friends) was fine dining level good, and the cocktail ingredients were so good I wanted one of each! Cannot say enough good things about this spot! Pictured is the Peachy Blinder, Keep the Change, and Snake Charmer. Each was so good and so different I couldn’t pick a favorite. Phenomenal spot!!

The place has a great vibe. It was almost impossible to make reservations so we ended up just stopping by and the wait was not too bad (about 30 minutes, which we spent waking in the lovely nearby streets). Megan, our server, was knowledgeable and efficient and the drinks that we order were absolutely decadent. The summer snow had sake, whiskey, nectarines and egg whites in it, and the burning ship had some aarack, rum, black rice and coconut in it. The pita, hummus and artichoke was very good as well. Give it a try!

Astoundingly polite, friendly, and pleasant wait staff. Possibly the nicest I’ve encountered in Denver. Very cozy spot and cocktails were amazing. Would like to plan a trip back to try more of the food menu soon.

Went here last night (Sunday evening) and I'm having trouble seeing a bar kicking this one's A in Denver. A party of two, didn't have a reservation, so we got on a waiting list for about 45 minutes. Well on the inside, we really were taken to another place. There truly is a probation type of vibe in here! Our first cocktail was served at a standing table, while our other two were at the bar (accompanied by the terrific bartender Kenny!). Could probably have stayed for another one, to be honest. My three cocktails were: Keep the Change, a more complex, yet fruity, take on the Manhattan. Svol Moon Rising, sort of like a sour in its foundation, but goes beyond that with hints of rhubarb and black pepper. Opulent Elk, blueberries for adults – pure joy! Beautiful creations, all of them. Balance and flavors on point, presentations 👌🏻 This is THE bar in Denver!

Be prepared to wait or make a reservation. We came right as they opened on a Sunday and still had to wait a moment. The experience is worth it though! Very cool and intimate atmosphere, it is very tight so if you get claustrophobic be aware. Staff were absolutely amazing, our bartender Jerry was fun and knowledgeable, but the bar back, Marshall was a workhorse all night. We had two drinks off the Spring Menu and one that Jerry made up for us. The cheesecake is amazing! I appreciate that they source materials from local vendors like Little Man Ice Cream and the local butcher shop. Great date night idea.

Very cool speakeasy. We really enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. Between my wife and I, we had a cocktail off the seasonal menu, a classic cocktail, and a bartenders choice cocktail. I really enjoyed chatting with Alex, our bartender, about Italian Amari. It is certainly a subject he is passionate about.

This spot was great! This my second time stoping by and I must say sitting at the bar is even better than a table. The Mixologist special is a must! Every drink was superb!

Easily the best speakeasy experience I’ve had. We got in without a reservation, it took about 15 minutes to get a callback that space had opened at the bar. We walked in through the hidden entry around 10 pm and stayed till close at 2 am (left through a different exit) just making the experience all the more surreal. Our bartender was lovely and the drinks were great. There was only one drink of many that neither me or my friend was feeling - something with a strong beet taste - and our bartender quickly noticed, asked us what flavours we wanted, and swapped it out for us. I loved the hidden cozy ambiance. It’s no wonder I stayed there for hours. I would certainly go back and try some bites.
