Castaneda's Mexican Restaurant

My go to for fresh authentic Mexican cuisine. I’ve had their tacos, burritos, fajitas, but my new favorite is one of their specialties called Burrito Toluca made with tender chicken and chorizo. Top it with their house made white quest and they’re in house special hot sauce and you’ll want to eat there every night. I’m literally drooling while typing this. If you haven’t gotten to check them out yet, do yourself a favor and go!

This place is the best Mexican I have ever had. At this point I am a weekly regular, because that’s how much I love their empanadas. Their birria tacos are sooooo good. Their prices are great, the food is amazing, & you can tell that they put effort into what they do. You can find their food truck out and about at many fairs too. I highly recommend this place, you will not regret it. I’m usually a take out customer, but they have nice outdoor seating in the spring, summer, & fall which looks like a good spot to hang out. Go try their food!

Food is always great! Tamales are fantastic. We've been going here for years. We moved away from the area and were excited to go back. I wish I was giving them 5 stars. Service tonight wasn't great. Meals came out in different times. Some people were done eating when they brought out my fathers food. Salsa was just ok. I remember it being better. Wish they would bring back Margarita Mondays. It was the best !

We ate outside in the shade of a huge oak tree. Our enchiladas (red and green) were great! The service was kind and timely. The quality of the food was equal to or better than any good Mexican restaurant. We had actual metal silverware and porcelain plates! We would eat here again … even if I had to drive an extra 20 miles!
