Shore Gourmet Denton Market

Incredible food!!! As the name implies, this is amazing gourmet food to go. They have picnic tables with umbrellas set up around the building. It’s situated in a nice neighborhood with plenty of shade. Back to the food... I went with one of specials, grilled chicken on flat bread, fresh arugula pesto and goat cheese. Whoa!! The taste and smell of this offering was awesome. Desserts. They have a great selection of fresh baked cakes. I settled on a slice of German chocolate cake as well as a slice of classic Smith Island cake (yellow cake with chocolate icing). It’s hard to say what was the best item since it was all soooo good. Loved it all. Again, the food is not your typical deli offerings, at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!!!@delmarvalicious.

Very pleasant experience. This restaurant is located in a renovated 120 year old school house in a quiet neighborhood. It offers only outside lawn seating and takeout. Order online or by phone. You can go inside to the restrooms. A simple menu, but the offerings we tried were somewhat unique and very tasty. Prices are fair, and the ambiance is really nice.

What a great place! In the old Caroline High School building. There is a diploma from 1899 on the 2nd floor and some of the original furnishings and floors are in place. All 4 of us were pleased with our various sandwiches and sides. Great value/large portions for good prices. Friendly staff.. Will definitely return. Please stop in the next time you are in Denton, MD....a good pit stop on your way to the beaches.

This place has excellent food at reasonable prices. Some things are a bit more pricey, but it's one of the few places you can get HEALTHY FRESH food. Prepared by the culinary students from what I've been told. It is truly a hidden treasure. I work in Denton 1 day a week, and we order from there quite frequently. I highly recommend the salads and wraps, the pasta salads and the cookies. The herbal tea is delicious as well, though a but overpriced.

I had the Grilled Chicken Southwestern salas and it was so satisfying! They give you a big portion for what you pay! They have a cute outdoor seating area for you to eat your food. Due to COVID, you will have to call for them to bring you a menu and to place an order. They will take your CC info over the phone too, so have it handy when placing your order.
