Januzzi's Pizzeria

This was great! For our first ever visit we got a large Lasagna pizza, a small Tuscany white pizza, and 10 hot wings. Everything was delicious! The pizza is thin but not cracker crust thin. It’s more like NY style pizza. Thin enough to fold (I am not a thick pizza fan). All the food was tasty and filling (they give you a lot of food). We liked the vegetarian pie the best. Best pizza I have had in Denton to date!

As a person who's actually from NJ/Philly, and we do mean South Jersey, this was a really poor excuse for Jersey Pizza. The crust was flavorless and chewy, and it wasn't even great for a regular pizza. I also got a shore staple, the chicken Parm sandwich which was over toasted, but soggy and tasted like disappointment mixed with stale chicken cutlets. I'll give it another chance, but right now this is in my top 5 worst pizza places ever - and I've eaten a pizza in Kansas! Not at all like the Jonuzi's in AC, so I hope to have a better experience next time.

Finally some good crust! Moved to Denton this past year and have tried most of the pizza in town, but this is the one. My girlfriend went to school in new york for several years so I have had a lot of good pizza in Brooklyn and the east village. I understand you can’t get the exact same crust without the new york water and air but this is as good as you are going to get in Texas I’m sure. Will be getting my pizza from here as long as I’m in Denton.

The Philly cheesesteak is the best I’ve had since moving here from New York. Very very good!!! I also ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and it was okay, the sauce is tastey but there’s not really a lot of flavor else wise that makes you go “man that’s GOOD!” The homemade ranch was also delicious. I would absolutely recommend this place and will be returning for the cheesesteak and to try other pizzas as well

After a 2 month absence went there and ordered a cheeseburger. It was was the best we have ever had. It was better than McDonald's, Wendy's, burger King or sonic. It was so good that we ordered 2 cheeseburger combos for dinner. They were the best and even the French fries were seasoned great. If you are in Denton and want a cheeseburger go here. I give it 5 stars
