Chapin's Bayside

This place is absolutely incredible. We dined here with a large group of family and friends in September and everyone has been raving about the food since! The staff is so attentive and friendly, and the owner made sure everything turned out perfect for our celebration. We’re ecstatic to add this to our “must visit” food spots for our annual trips to the Cape.

What a wonderful restaurant and experience. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left there was a constant flow of high-quality, respectful, and enjoyable service. They were attentive, personable, and knowledgeable about the establishment. Even with a busy Saturday night on a holiday weekend service was on point in all aspects. Food wise I could live off of the nachos and general tsos wings happily for the rest of my days. The wings were flavorful and crispy, and the nachos were properly loaded without being too much. The po' boy was amazing and loaded with fried oysters and the rigatoni that my wife had was great too from the one bite I could steal! The restaurant is well put together allowing for ample space between tables and a great ambience. The manager, Nick could be seen all evening helping servers, bussers, and still checking in on every table! He made sure everything came out to satisfaction and that nothing was missed. Our server, Kitty was on point all night as well and didn't miss a thing! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed Chapin's Bayside and can't wait to visit again!

We went to Chapin's 3 nights ago with another couple...first time for all of us. It was a busy Friday night, and we had an excellent experience. The food varied from good to excellent - we can recommend the salmon and the scallops dishes - and the drinks were very good. The service was outstanding, even on a busy night - friendly, well-paced, and efficient. Best service we've had since before the pandemic...would give them 10 stars out of 5 for this! We would definitely return, but one thing to note...there was live music in the bar, and it made conversation very difficult throughout the restaurant. (Luckily there was a long break when we were there.) We didn't see any notice of this when we made reservations...in the future we would try sit outside to avoid the noise. But otherwise a very enjoyable dinner.

really loved all the food we had and we ate outside on the patio. It was nice! the crab cake was awesome I loved the sauce and the cucumber and corn sucatash underneath was amazing with it. the calimari had chorizo in it which just added that extraness that was surprising and just delicious. The lobster roll was great the fries were perfect. I didn't really enjoy my margarita but my husband loved his drink and that didn't ruin the experience so still would highly recommend!!

Starting at front desk, young girl she said was almost 16 working the phones, seating, take out then helped me with a sweatshirt. The place was busy but under staffed. Sunday 8-28-22. She took the time to help me pick out a sweatshirt in the bunkers they have for storage which truly as a person that knows the business it seems silly to store sweatshirts out in a lobby with glass doors no no where near the cashier because her being alone also means that whole area is unattended. She is a local all year round student that lives on the Cape with light blonde hair .I am so upset I forgot her name because she was a asset to Chapins.I had to ask because she was just so sweet if she lived on the Cape.Sweatshirt I bought was absolutely awesome best queasily and the design was beautiful which attracted me to needing this in my life. Five of us ate the bar side inside which has they very best truffle fries all of us ever had. It was actually my third time in the short time I was down there going there and every time we always had to get them.Our waitress was amazing she also bartended worked her Fanny off that night. Thursday night we were there Jess was working the Bar as insanely busy as she was she was smiling helping with suggestions for drinks etc. Chapins truly has wonderful service , food is amazing and atmosphere is the best totally thumbs up.

food was good. chowder was thick but still good. i asked for medium and got more medium rare and burger was not piping hot. was still warm. chicken piccata was amazing the sauce was the best part. full salad was enormous. added grilled salmon and it was okay. still need to find the best place on the cape. bill came out to $68.52 and just left it a flat $80.00.
