Review South Street Depot - Dennis Port

Went to Southside Cantina for the first time today and was greeted by the nicest server, Sammi! She helped us navigate the menu to get a better deal, which I really appreciated. The food was delicious! We had a house margarita, street corn, 1 carne asada & 1 shrimp street taco, and a brisket burrito. All of which we’d order again! Sammi’s warm, friendly personality was the best part for my daughter and I! We enjoyed our first time and can’t wait to stop back in next Summer.

Probably the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to!! Food was fantastic and the Mango Margarita was outstanding!

The Mexican street corn was So Delicious!!! I wish they would have had dessert...a churro would have been nice to end my meal with...and I'm sorry I'm just not a fan of having to sit & listen to karaoke while dining...but otherwise great service & the food was tasty!

We randomly stopped for an early lunch and are very happy we choose Southside Cantina! The food and drinks were amazing! The Smokey Mango Margarita was perfect and the tacos were fresh and tasty. The service was so friendly and attentive as well! Will def come back on family vacation next year!

Came here a little preseason (June). Wasn't busy at all, cool vibe and space! The food was incredible. Everything was handmade and super fresh! Will definitely make this a go-to spot for every vacation here!

Went twice. Had three tacos. Cod, Shrimp and brisket. The tortilla looks home made and has great flavor. They came with some pickled veggies on top enhancing the flavor. They are one of the best taco places around.

We had tacos, chicken and brisket. Delicious! Love their chips, served warm with salsa. Friendly staff, no extra fees. Glad we went and would definitely return!

We needed a break from lobster and seafood and went to Southside Cantina last night for dinner, and it was incredible. We had Tacos which were amazing (2 was plenty for my wife!) burritos which were incredible, and sizzling fajitas which tasted great. I got to talk to one of the owners as we walked out and he was super friendly, and explained that they make everything from scratch there, nothing comes out of a can, including grinding their own spices. He also said his brother owns the BBQ place across the street which is how they have amazing smoked meats on the menu as well as part of the mexican meal. This was such a wonderful hidden gem, I highly recommend checking it out. The cantina atmosphere is informal and kid-friendly, but the food could be the star of a much pricier restaurant.

Fantastic food! After reading the reviews, I was worried, but we went for it, and it was delicious! My cousin had the carnitas and smoked brisket street tacos and raved about them, I had the tacos Del Mar, which were super fresh, and my nephew had the kid’s quesadilla which was a very generous portion. The margaritas were super yummy and the house-made syrups were spot-on. Overall, quite good-I’ll be back!

When you think cape cod you don’t really think Mexican….this place is pretty good their burrito with pork was delicious. Fish tacos were good I would recommend getting the green salsa on the side if you can’t handle spice food. There is potential for this place to be great. Lot of parking

5 stars all around, we ordered nachos,quesadillas, burritos, tacos, chips- all came out in less then 20 minutes. FRESH food, they only have corn on the cob, I requested corn in my burrito and they took the corn off the cob by hand for me. We wanted to add soemthing to one of our orders with no hesitation they took our request and made it SIMPLE. They are super friendly and the customer service was amazing. Definitely will be visiting again. Best Mexican food aroud.

The food is amazing, honestly. The prices seem a little steep at $6.95 for a single taco, but man are they delicious. My only complaint about the food is that they really need two soft corn tortillas served with each taco, instead of one. Corn tortillas just buckle under too much moisture, so you have just a few minutes to eat the taco before they disintegrate. There isn't the same flexibility with corn as there is with flour. I had the pork carnita street tacos. My boyfriend had the carne asada house tacos, and he said they are some of the best tacos he's ever had. Definitely worth a visit!

It is a cantina! The food is well constructed and very tasty. Spices, texture quality of ingredients. Favorite tacos in the whole plan. Plus the margaritas. They are homemade and really good. Sorry no they are not good they are my favorite too. Getting better as the summer rolls along. Three times thus week (and we are locals)

Food was amazing! Could tell everything was made from scratch. Turn off was that the drinks were served in flimsy plastic cups. Ceiling fans are powerful, so bring an extra layer!

We tried burrito and taco with margaritas. We was fresh and delicious. Seasoned well. Drinks were great and well balanced. Definitely recommend. Customer service was also excellent.

Terrible we found a long hair wrapped around our chicken the manager is incompatible of running a reliable place. She couldn't understand why we wanted to leave. Totally disgusting She needs management 101 she missed that day I guess

Place was nearly empty, ordered hot wings and clam chowder. Wings came out soggy wet and missing the hot sauce and no blue cheese for the veggies!? Clam chowder was worse then a can of Campbell’s. Servers barely comprehend English and the food took way to long, wings cook in minutes and the chowder should have been ready in a hot pot. I’m not hard to please but this place is a disaster. Will NEVER come back

The band and bar scene is great. Love going there on a Sunday night to listen to music. Burgers were alright . They are to thin for my taste . Mixed drinks are expensive. If you are a beer drinker like me you will make out great at only 5 dollars a pop.

They have a great burger called the depot burger.it was delicious. Very juice. Haven't had Burger that good in long time. Next time I'm down cape cod first place I. Will eat at.

There were issues with 6 out of the 9 meals that we ordered. Two children were charged adult prices for their chicken tender meals and then were charged an additional fee for their fries. Instead of buffalo chicken tenders, we received buffalo chicken wings. Two children ordered pasta with no sauce, but were given pasta with sauce. One child didn’t get the milk that they ordered until dinner was half over. Drinks were never refilled for the rest of the table.

The place has a great vibe and great music. My complaint is the bar service is very slow.

Came for the breakfast buffet and it was real good, I found the home fries a little bland but everything else was wonderful. Jennifer our server was awesome and Chef Dan was chatting with all the customers, making sure everything was great. We enjoyed our breakfast and will be going back for the burgers and also dinner.

The food was very good, the bartender Matt was a riot and we danced all night to a great band. YAASS!!!

Only recently discovered this bar and have had a few good nights whilst on vacation from the UK. Great food, friendly staff. �

Breakfast buffet with cold food and poor service. Get your own coffee and dirty plates pile up on table. Nothing at all like Egg and I was.

Food and service was great. We went back the next day to get clam chowder to go.

South Street Depot is a fun, relaxed eatery for singles, couples and families . From the well stocked all you can eat salad bar to the great burgers and fresh from the ocean oysters it's a consistently satisfying experience. We have enjoyed the Psychedelic Sunday fun with the Grab Brothers , a Cape original band that rocks the joint. Put it on your fun things to calendar for 7 pm every Sunday. You won't be disappointed .

The help doesn’t understand English. Party of 8 got 1/2 drinks wrong and 1/2 food order wrong. Food came out with very long delays between peoples orders first two came out and where done eating before next 4 came out and they where finished when final 2 came out.

Had the lobster roll last night was delicious!!! Definitely will go back there, and I was so happy to see the put the Red Sox Martini on their specialty drink menu !!!

Food was great and the entertainment was fab!
