La Parrilla Restaurant

Unexpected delicious I was really hungry but I’m always cautious about stoping at those side of the highway restaurants because most of the time food sucks and are dirty. To my surprise place was very clean. Even the restrooms were spotless. I always say that if the restroom are clean then they must also take the time to have a clean kitchen. The food was also very good. Home made taste. The owner was also very welcoming. Plenty of parking and room for two or three semi truck. Will definitely be coming back when I pass through here again

After we sat down and we're considering the menu, unrequested chips and salsa were delivered to our table. Complimentary chips and salsa are something we receive at least 90% of the time at Mexican restaurants we patronize. When I went to pay, I noticed a nearly $4 charge for a basket of maybe a dozen chips and a small serving of salsa. I questioned the cashier and the gentleman Suggested it was posted on the wall. That was a turn-off. So I think we'll try other Mexican food establishments in Deming, although the food was reasonably good and authentic. Also, it was a little hard to communicate with the young lady waitress, whose English seemed to be a second language. Although I have a lot of patience for that.

The Red and Green sauces are equally good and the tacos are satisfying as they are nicely filled. The rest of the combination plates were so meticulouly crafted like a real homemade meal. The menudo comes with all the appropriate fixings and was perfectly made. I absolutely suggest eating here and I will definitely order food from them in the future.
