Good food. Portions are really huge. We always end up taking stuff home, then sadly never eat it. Crab Rangoon, House Special Fried Rice & Chicken Curry-onions only-hot and spicy.

Was there on new years eve at about 4pm. They had a special menu which was at least double the price of their regular menu. Having said that, the food was fabulous. The chicken was fresh and there was a good amount of chicken. Many give tons of veggies but little chicken. At the end, I did not mind paying the premium price for excellent food. I'm moving to the neighborhood and plan to make China gardens my go to Chinese restaurant

The hot and sour soup was sweet. The bourbon chicken tasted like and had the texture of flavorless roast pork. The spicy chicken and shrimp that I asked for extra spicy, was bland. Probably among the worst Chinese meals I've ever had. I also never received the free quart of fried rice that was supposed to come with order of over $35. I had to ask for it as well. But got home and it wasn't in my order. This was my only 2 visits to this place. My first and last.

I recently moved from PB County, after 50 years there, to Martin County. Sadly, there do not seem to be any Chinese restaurants here that are above one star. I was reminded of this when friends visited recently with a surprise order of food from China Gardens in Delray Beach, which has been one of the best in PB County for many years. Their recent remodeling has made the restaurant very pleasant, and the food has only improved. EVERYTHING seems better, from simple dishes like the soup and egg rolls to somewhat more interesting items like lo mein (they actually use the correct noodles) and string beans with shrimp or beef. Even the chicken wings are done correctly--nice ginger flavor but not overpowering. It isn't rocket science to offer excellent Chinese food; I wish some of the Martin County owners would visit China Gardens and learn how to improve their offerings even if they have to raise their prices a bit to do so.

Not as good as it was pre covid. No longer served in covered chaffing dishes so can't share different entrees. Served on beautiful rectangular plates that cool quickly and have the rice and entree together. Nothing to rave about. My usual order was just ok. If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant that is authentic , this is no longer the place to go. But if you are trying to go upscale, it misses also. It is just average ..,. Too bad. It was a favorite. Now just ordinary.

Ordered online for delivery. Prices seemed typical and the food wasn't horrible just not what you'd expect. I ordered 2 meals; garlic chicken and general Tsao chicken. Both were prepared like sweet and sour chicken would be where the chicken is deep fried with the sauce on the side. Both were fairly flavorless and neither dish had any vegetables. No peppers no broccoli the garlic chicken didn't even seem to have garlic. Fathers day meal was a failure. Egg rolls were ok.

I went here after many years of people saying it was excellent. I had the worst Chinese meal ever. I ordered Sweet and Sour Shrimp. The dish came out cold, the vegetables still had chill on them, the rice was mushy, the shrimp was tough, dried out and still had the vein in it...I was grossed out. My sister ordered General Gaos chicken it came as sesame chicken, server said it was the general. They claim serving only white meat chicken, sure...I tried a peice and could tell it was a pressed chicken...so weiird...never going back!

The shrimp spring rolls no longer seem to contain shrimp. The hot and sour soup tasted fowl. Moo shu was ok. Even fortune cookies are tasteless. Time to find a new Chinese take out that actually tastes good and puts quality products savor.
