FlyBird’s menu is delicious! The chicken is chargrilled to perfection and the flavor combinations will keep you craving more. Be sure to try the refreshing tamarind lemonade! I love that this comfort food doesn’t make me feel guilty. Food was on the pricey side: $50 for 2 meals.

Seriously one of the best lunch spots in Delray Beach I’ve ever ordered from. The crispy chicken was unreal! Staff is very friendly too. A+++

Took my parents here for lunch yesterday. We were blown away by the food! My mom (who is hard to impress) freaked out about her crispy chicken sandwich, It’s the best she’s ever had. My dad had the chicken grilled sandwich and a cookie- he loved it all! Everything is home made and it’s cooked and baked to perfection. I never knew chicken could ever be that juicy and good! Btw, the staff was super friendly and nice!

My 1st time! I could smell smoked wood from outside! Mouth was watering as soon as I walked through the door. The very kind owner helped me picked my 1st lunch. I haven’t had chicken this delicious in years! Make it a stop if you love chicken! They even have homemade pot pies frozen to go!!!

So not knowing what to try, I asked! 1/4 Chicken or Chicken Fingers? She informed me she was a chicken finger girl. So Chicken Fingers it was.
So one name given, I commenced waiting. With a total of 27 dollars plus for chicken fingers with two small sides (included) and an extra small side order of creamed spinach. I was a little taken aback.
The decor is ok, but not inspiring, intriguing or necessarily creative. Some places the food talks for itself. After about 10 mins or so. I got my takeout order.
I got home (5 mins away) and was a little worried about the packing. When you close up steaming hot food that is fried. It usually results in a moist, soggy meal. I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken was dry and crisp.
The Chicken! Well it was a coarse panko type breading. Not particularly flavorful or interesting. It could rank right up there with a frozen diner chicken finger from a dozen cheaper joints. It just isn't a favorite of mine. It seems like a cheap short cut. I kind of expected more from Michael Salmon (NY chef and Food Network contributor). It would never stand up to a hand breaded chicken finger from the Crown & Anchor in Las Vegas. The BBQ sauce dip was watery and just a step up from ketchup. Grainger's down the road has house made BBQ dip that is leagues better.
The Charred Broccoli was just super tasty. I mean as far as broccoli goes this is outstanding. Although it was super tasty it was cold. Like really cold. Which was kinda weird considering it was in the box with the hot chicken. Is it supposed to be served cold? I wouldn't think so.
The creamed spinach, well it's creamed spinach. Was it great creamed spinach, no. Was it bad creamed spinach, no. It fell firmly in the land of mediocrity.
So if you want a pricey incredibly average meal, atmosphere and experience go to FlyBird.

Wow!! Super yummy, fast and great team! I was visiting the area and came for dinner, two days later I had to come back for lunch before my flight. Real good food.
Brooke and Sherry were upbeat and professional, they knew the menu and took pride in the establishment. Next time I’m in Florida I will be back for sure!

NO NO NO!! I honestly do not understand the 5 star ratings. I love food. Have been a foodie all my life.
First of all it wasn’t busy when we arrived. The waitress finally arrived at our table 20 minutes after we got there.
The food is just so so. Certainly not worth the price for its small portions. The chicken was extremely small. The chicken soup was good, however, it was more like barley soup as there was only 2 small pieces of chicken bits in it. The broccoli is hard, flavorless and needed some help. The mash potatoes was instant potatoes. Trust me. I know the difference between real and fake potatoes. We asked for salt and pepper, got it, and immediately it was shuffled to another table. Obviously they don’t have enough salt and pepper shakers to go around. There’s so much more, instead the bottom line is that you can get better chicken dishes elsewhere, dare I say, Popeyes and Kentucky fried chicken is better tasting and nowhere near as expensive as Flybird. Also, eating at a restaurant offers far better tasting meals than what our group had here. Our group says Flybird is “a one and done” place. I totally agree with them.
