Chapa's Bakery - Del Rio - Photo album

PHENOMENAL BAKERY. I tried a variety of sweets. The cream in the cream horns was so light and fluffy, the neopolitan cookie was excellent, everything was great. If you are looking for some authentic bakery options, definately this one.
Been here various times, and overall, the food has been really good. They have a variety of items. Only thing I noticed different occasions was no employees disinfecting anything. However, they atleast provide hand sanitizer and wipes at the entrance. Would recommend this spot.
Excellent service and the breads taste fresh! Highly recommend their baked goods.
This Bakery is a great place to purchase some cookies, cakes, pies or other pastries. If you're looking for authentic Mexican pastries but don't want to go to Acuna make this one of your stops.
The pineapple pies DO NOT taste the same anymore. It is a tradition since many many years ago every time we go to Del Rio/Acuña that we stop by here and buy 5 or more pies to take back to Houston. We were so disappointed this time.
Just went here this morning for donuts and reposteria. Last month my tia Nana had ordered me some frosting for my son's cake from here and my mom took it to me in San Antonio. It was the best frosting ever! The cake got lots of compliments. I have bought Wilton, AGS, Johnson, Heb, etc. frosting but
chapas always has many freshly baked goods. all of their breads are made in the store. the bakery is small but its faster than any other bakery.
Best bakery to go to love there sweet bread
