Last was here about twenty years ago. Happy to see it was renovated well. There are two rooms now: a low-ceilinged (and quiet) dining room and the tin-ceilinged bar; I definitely recommend sitting in the bar. Tables are a bit sticky but food/drinks were good and there were plenty of them. Dos XXs is on tap, the salsa is unique (and a little spicy) and entries were good. Would probably go back with friends but not sure it's a "date night" place.
Pretty good food and really nice atmosphere. This is a great place for a birthday gathering. Make sure you substitute the Mexican street corn for rice & beans for a delicious change of pace. The Mexican mule was good, too, but I had trouble tasting the tequila. Overall, it was a nice meal at a nice place.
Food is terrific! Best Mexican in the area in my opinion. I love the variety of margaritas they have and the prices are very affordable. It has a very nice atmosphere inside. The bar is big and very welcoming. I recommend the brisket chimichangas, amazing!
I've always loved this place and have held several significant family events there. The food and drinks are top notch. They recently added burgers to the menu, and I can say their bacon cheeseburger might be the best burger I've ever had. The owners are wonderful people and are sincerely invested in the community.
Excellent Mexican food, good service. #1 in DeKalb and even lots of options for vegetarians 👍
