Very Clean, Food was Delicious! Friendly atmosphere! Great Drinks on hand! Easy in and out! Very Professional and Helpful
10/10 food, service, & atmosphere. Server Dina was excellent. Probably the best food I’ve ever eaten. Not one thing could have been better!
Chill vibe a great chef and bar tender. Paella I had was unique with many layers of flavor. Certainly different from the paellas I'm used to being from Florida but delicious nonetheless. Staff is vaccinated and makes a point to let customers know. Really appreciate that. Tiramasu was well done as well.
What a great time at this restaurant! Went here on a Saturday night and they had live music (two guys playing guitar and harminica). The service provided by Paige was great. We had the Spring Rolls and bruschtta for an appetizer.. Dinner was a selection of the sliders and the special lamb chops with mashed potatoes. Really enjoyed the local beer selections and ambiance. We will definitely be back!
I can't believe I never knew about this place, the food was outstanding! Such a variety there's something for every taste palette, and I know I will back very soon to try it all. The service was impeccable, and the live jazz music was a perfect addition to the perfect environment. Don't forget to try the smoked salmon bruschetta, we had to order more after dessert because it was just that good.
Decent wine and an extensive menu. I wasn't a big fan of the lobster bisque, but they had a nice cheese board and the calamari was crispy and fresh. Hoping to go back soon and try out more of the menu. The daily soups and specials change & I hear they do a good french onion.
So happy they are open again! Met up for lunch here and they always have great food and great service! We ordered the cheese board and stuffed chicken skewers, as well as some cocktails. I had the house sangria and my friend had the margarita. This place does not disappoint! They are great for lunch or dinner! They do however close from 2pm-4pm before reopening again for dinner hours. Love this place!
Overall, One of Dekalb Illinois's best restaurants. The staff is always professional and kind. The food is well above average. There beer menus is a unique blend of craft, local and common.
Since I've been here several times, my only small complaints are some that new visitors won't recognize. But It's worth mentioning. 1) There sushi menu has gotten smaller post Covid and tastes a shame. 2) Unfortunately they recently let there bar manager go. As a patron, not having him behind the bar with his vast knowledge of beer, breweries, liquor, distillaries and great mix drinks along with related conversations is a loss. It won't stop us from going back but it is a shame. Overall, Tapa La Luna is a must try restaurant.
