Overall: great food, good vibes, superb staff. Upstairs area is not part of Mellow Mushroom restaurant. 96/100 on current (June 2022) health rating. Hostess and waiter were perfectly attentive, respectful, and responsive. Ordered a small Kosmic Karma for myself and was comfortably satisfied with 1/2 (2 slices). Music playing was rock-punk-alternative, slightly loud. Seats were filled 2/3 on Thursday evening. Would recommend for downtown Decatur Pizza spot.

First time tried Mellow Mushroom for dinner, being a vegan , I really had to try their vegan veggie pizza... It was simple delicious with black olives, Roma tomatoes, onions, with vegan cheese. Definitely would recommend for the vegans out there 👌

2 stars probably because of the manager who was able to understand that we had a bad experience and the cleanliness else would have been 1star.
We're there half an hour before closing and order a BYOP pizza with a garlic pesto base. The pizza was looking fine. We realize that we got a wrong pizza after downing a slice. As it was closing time and they couldn't make another the manager offered half discount and so we try to eat the remaining. Then the taste started sinking in that the pineapples and chicken weren't fresh. We stop eating and we get the check.
I felt that it was just ridiculous to pay that much for not so pleasant experience. The manager understood our situation and we left without charge.
First timer here not sure if it's just this time or everyone else admiring a mehh pizza.
I would not come back.

Emma our Super hero🐝🦶🏻😜 server was one of the Best ever! She made our first time there awesome! The bruseetta that she recommended was amazing, and just as she described it. The atmosphere was very laid-back and inviting, especially since there is a patio with large TV's and cool ceiling fans. Great for people watching while sipping a delicious Feral margarita that she suggested. We will definitely return. 🥰👍🏽👌🏾

Best pizza I've had in a long time! This is my new go-to pizza spot for sure.
The specialty pizzas are creative but also well executed. Most pizza places do not use enough toppings for the price but that's not the case here. The value is excellent compared to the other local pizza spots I've tried.
I'm looking forward to getting back there for some more!

My family and I dined-in here this past Tuesday.
The server we had was very nice. The restaurant looks clean. The food was hot fresh, and very tasty 🤤. The only thing I wouldn’t order again is the lemonade, it tasted wired, no sweetness at all. But I wouldn’t trust that water or lemonade. The bathrooms were okay, hand soap pump wasn’t working in the Women’s bathroom. I had to switch to the Family bathroom in order to wash my hands. I know Mellow Mushrooms 🍄 has been around for a while now. But I think it’s time to add a choice salad menu, bigger wing menu and last a dessert menu. Update for 2000’s.

This is great food—when you can get it. Call and get put on hold for five minutes and then get hung up on. Go to the website and it says that online ordering is not available between 5:30 and 8:30pm. Order through a third party app and get a message saying your order can’t be placed because of high volume.
For years, this franchise has not been able to keep up with the volume of customers it gets.
When it goes right, it’s great—unique, rich, flavorful pizzas with fresh ingredients. More often than not, though, it goes wrong.
