Ricky's Sub Shop

We ordered carry-out. The guy taking our order was pretty cool. When we first got there there was only one other person there but RIGHT AFTER we got there that place filled up QUICK! All of the food there we ordered was very good and we ordered a lot. The only thing I don't care for here are their fries. Other than that everything else was the bomb! Their subs are HUGE if you get a "whole." It's also quite expensive too but I feel like it's worth it for what you get. All of their subs comes with "everything on it" except for the original which only has meat, grilled onions and squeeze cheese. The dining area looks pretty big from what I saw. They have a fountain machine in the dining area if you need to refill your drink. As much as I like Lefty's I would DEFINITELY take this place over it!

I've been coming to Ricky's since they opened. This is the first time I've been in since the renovations. I am throughly impressed. The subs remain great and the ice cream is just as good. I'm going to have to try the pumpkin pie ice cream with the slice of pumpkin pie in it on my next visit. The only suggestion I have for improvement is service is definitely slower since the remake. It seems hard to find people at the counter to take orders. Time from getting in line to food in hand is almost twice as long.

This place fell of extremely hard. From the service to actual taste of the food. I still can’t get over the fact that I was charged for ketchup as you can see in the picture of the receipt below. I grew up working in the restaurant industry and have yet to see a place charge for ketchup. Never the less I payed and went on with my order. When I requested for my sandwich to be cut in half which is clearly on the receipt below, they forgot to do so. Then I proceeded to give the tray back to the employee and kindly point out I wanted it cut in half, however I was told to grab a plastic knife and do it myself Because “he can’t take it back there” referring to the sub. Never the less I didn’t let ruin my experience because I was excited about having Ricky’s after a very long time. So I thought the food wouldn't disappoint. However I was disappointed. The chubby chicken I got was completely different from what I was used to getting at Ricky’s. It was dry and tasteless. The Philly was dry as well. Don’t let the renovations fool you, this place didn’t get better or even stay the same it just got worse.

Right when I walked into the facility, I was greeting with a warm welcome and excellent customer service. The cashier who was taking my order, Alex, did an excellent job on turning this review into a 5/5 star. He was able to get my order down very easily and asked all the necessary questions so that it came out perfect. I would like to thank Alex for giving me such a good experience and I hope when I return next time that he is there again. If it were to be possible to give Alex a promotion or raise I personally would because he is a hard worker, respectable, and responsible young man. The food was also great which I would love to thank the chef for making. I would definitely be coming back and order another delicious Philly Cheesesteak sub.

Came in to grab a carry-out for dinner for my family and had the best dinner. Got the Philly steak and cheese and the split sandwiches, french fries, chocolate chip cookies, and wings. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Even the day after the subs were delicious. My husband is very picky and also loved Ricky's Sub Shop food. I'm pretty easy to please, but it's a true compliment when he says something is delicious. Can't wait to hire them for my daughter's birthday!
