Rex's Golden Grill

This is the same business that I remember from 35 years ago, only the name has changed to . The owner Rex has been here since 1979, and I remember the food was good then, just as it is now. Our waitress was very attentive. We started with chicken noodle and I had cabbage soup. My friend ordered a patty melt with onion rings, and I had to BLT. Sorry I didn't get pictures of the soup, but both were super delicious. The patty melt Was Juicy, with just the right amount of cheese. My lblt was also done to perfection. After I are meal, she told us of the assortment of cakes that they had. Me being a foodie decided on the chocolate raspberry, which I decided is actually a black forest cake. They also had Cherry nut oh, and other very creamy Delight. The Taste was just as good as the Cheesecake Factory but at half the price. As you know I'm always a "check the bathroom" cleanliness girl and I like to check the air vents. I must say the vents and bathrooms were super clean. Thanks for the great meal, good wait staff, and relaxingambiance...we'll be back.

Sorry but …. VERY disappointing experience and probably I will never come back :( I came for lunch with my husband after seeing many good reviews to try their crepes on Sunday around noon. When I got there, parking was packed but inside there were at least half of the tables open. We were seated right away but it took 10min to just get water. Another 10+min to place an order and another 10+min to get our food… My husband was getting hangry, he had to flag a server to place an order, which was rerouted to the lady assigned to our table, but the other server was so nice she brought us water and coffee… If at least the food was good, we would’ve been okay but my crepes looked golden brown on the outside but when I bit in, it was doughy, undercooked, pretty much raw batter :( so disgusting and disappoint to say the least. Husbands food seemed okay but his toasts didn’t come and the nice server stationed for the table next to us brought him toasts, noticing there was something wrong with our order. Perhaps it was just that our waitress was having a bad day and kitchen was short staffed or something but we were not pleased and quite disappointed to say the least. The two starts go to the waitress who brought us coffee and toast even though we were not in her station.

This is the best resturant I've ever been to for breakfast, the staff is so passionate with their work ,smiling all the time and welcoming, they kept asking us frequently if we need anything, the food is amazing , I tried their very popular berry mix French toast it's so good and I liked their cofee too,I went their yesterday and the owner was giving away flowers on mother's day ,I would definitely come aging and bring the rest of my family

We came in on Valentine's Day, for dinner, we ordered two fried chicken dinners. The chicken breading was so hard that we both almost lost our teeth in the process of eating it. I tried to chisel off the breading thinking the meat inside would be tender, (NOPE) the meat was greasy, the BEAN soup they served for some reason looked like tomato vegetable soup. The baked potato was roasted on the outside hard on the inside. The waitress was the only pleasant experience about this restaurant.
