Dayton Taphouse

Not the best bartender on duty. No lime with Corona & tequila shot. Had to walk up & get them. Never asked if we wanted another. Ordered another, no limes again. Hamburger was ordered well done but had pink meat in it. It was good though. French fries were nice & brown, expecting crispy but they were limp & mushy. Not sure how they did that. Wouldn't go again.

One of the worst experiences food wise and dining wise I have ever had. Went with family and there were only four of us. -First they could not get our drinks right, two Pepsi and a root beer but they could not even get that right mixing it with Diet Pepsi. -Next our server could not even remember who ordered what as she came out like a minute later about to give us an order that was not even ours. -When our order did come out I ordered a burger plain nothing on it just cheese meat and bread. It had EVERYTHING on it still. Okay fine lot of restaurants make this mistake BUT -When give it back all they did was scrape off PART off the onions and sauce and lettuce etc still leaving a good chunk on it. At that point just wanted to taste the food to see was even worth the price. It wasn't. That one bite of burger was blander then a burger at Applebees and was just as expensive. While normally give places a second chance this is one time I am SUPER skeptical of ever trying again.

1st time trying Dayton Taphouse..... Ordered a pulled pork sandwich.... got home with it and it was so salty I couldn't eat it. Ordered the coleslaw on the side and it was VERY salty also. The fries were edible. Big difference between seasoning and so much salt, you can't taste the flavor of the food it is covering up! Won't be going back....

Terrible Service, you'll NEVER see me there again. I'm also not a fan of the new menu not only is the menu printed on a piece of regular paper they use those menus over & over again and the menus are filthy and stained. A terrible experience !! I love to support our local businesses however so many terrible experiences at the Tap House over shadows the couple of good experiences I've had there and apparently the Tap House Management don't care.

I worked here, I had such high hopes of helping this beautiful restaurant with so much potential succeed, unfortunately the owner has serious issues and poor business ethic. Months after leaving I was still harrassed and slandered by him. I have almost 30 years customer service experience and about 20 of that in the food and beverage industry I have never seen such unethical practices.. not to mention mold in places that should be cleaned every day.. when I brought up that sanitizing and basic cleaning needed to be done every day I was belittled. The last time I went in I realized all my hard work on cleaning was in vain. Dirty trays littered the bar, dead flys by the windows and littering the floors and as I put my apron in the waitress station mold was once again growing from the juice catch in the juice machine.., so very sad , this could be Daytons top restaurant.

This was our 2nd attempt and what a mistake. My chicken sandwich, must have died from old age, no way could I chew it. The club sandwich, had the same road kill chicken in it. I guess the oil drenched limp fries were to help the dryness. I'm sorry they can't do better, it would be great to have a decent place to dine.
