Waffle House

The restaurant was mostly clean except a roof leak next to our table. The staff was hospitable. The reason I rate this 3 stars is because of the wait. Waiting well over an hour for scrambled eggs and toast was ridiculous. The place wasn't even very busy. The food quality was typical of waffle house. They need to fix their wait times after putting in your order. The nice staff saved this from being a 1 star review. Pictured is the two egg breakfast and bacon with gravy ham hash browns.

So I stopped at this Waffle House twice and there’s a Sister who is Managing this place. First off I must give her props because she is handling mad pressure but she’s cool calm and collective and I don’t think she gets enough credit nor pay for what she does. But I noticed it and so does God. I recommend this Waffle House because she makes this place feel like home inspite of all the day to day pressure the world needs more management like hers.

I went inside and placed an order for myself and my husband he wanted a quarter pounder with cheese with everything but onions and tomato extra pickle and a side salad with ranch I ordered a patty melt with hash browns scattered and cover double covered and I have the onions on mine when I got home his sandwich did not have anything but meat cheese and the bun, not even any condiment sauce and it didn't even have his extra pickles on it and the waitress said they didn't sale salads anymore, then after I paid $18.70 for it, also before I left I had to get a bite of my hashbrowns and noticed they didn't put extra cheese I had paid for and to get them to put the extra cheese on my hash browns because it wasn't on there and I paid for it and they were kind of burnt but I went ahead and ate them anyways and his Burger was bad bad it didn't have nothing but the cheese in the bun and to make a little piece of meat and so dry my dog wouldn't even eat it. The dad thing is my husband's party was bigger than the one I had on my pattymelt😞 so now we know why they were talking asking wonder why crystal is so busy now we know and now we know why they say go to the huddle House or one another waffle House and that's sad first time trying it in 3 years and it was that bad. I did get pictures of the extremely poor quality.

Lemme tell you a story... a quick one ... about this waffle house experience... out of my 35 years alive and my dozen or so visits to waffle house (live in MI and we dont have them so we only stop when traveling) this waffle house in TN near my husband's aunt and uncles house was the ONLY GOOD EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD AT A WAFFLE HOUSE ... that's it for my story... I told you it was quick ... PS heres a pic of my delicious breakfast!!!

It never ceases to amaze me what people will tolerate in this town. Waffle House please hire some employees so you don’t have to close 2/3 of your dining down. How about not running out of burgers, chops, sausage, bacon, pies, tea and sugar severs times a week every week. Today is Friday, arguably the busiest night for dining out and y’all are out of essentials again. Here’s a hint: Hire decent people, pay them decent, treat them decent and keep your shelves stocked.
