Food was ok, not bad. Service, leaves a lot to be desired. Walked in, waited to be seated, manager and employee seated right in front of us rolling silverware and eating... "said, I'll be right with you", then took another bite. We went to the bar, girl in there was sweet, greated us quickly. Asked
The service at Gonzos is fantastic. By far the best since COVID began. The food was good but would not classify it as great. The El Jefe Burrito was humongous but was lacking flavor. The restaurant was clean and family friendly.
Definitely some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had (and I've had a lot), it looks nothing like the photos, my wife ordered the "supreme" quesadilla, took one bite, and threw it away. I only wish we'd thought to take pictures. Waste of money.
Tried another new Mexican restaurant this evening over at Ganzos north of Kimberly St in Davenport. Ok food, good service, clean establishment and easy parking.

Portion sizes are very decent and prices are super cheap. Definitely worth checking out. Good food but nothing extraordinary.

Well, my family and I were visiting relatives in Iowa. We are from Texas and have Tex-Mex and lots of Authentic Mexican food options. So, for us to go as far north as Iowa, we were not expecting it to be glorious. However, we were surprised and it was actually pretty good. The queso blanco was great
Pros: The service was good and I enjoyed the chips and salsa. I also liked the hot sauce. Cons: the food was very plain. The chimichanga was literally just chicken in a fried shell. The fish tacos came with little in the tortilla, and you couldn't really taste the chipotle--very little slaw too.
Good family owned restaurant. It is not true Mexican but more American Mexican food. Still good food though.
I absolutely love their salsa! I stopped by to get an order to take home. It was a very welcoming atmosphere! Great service! Delicious food.
