Review Applebee's - Danville

Food was good. Little pricey but good. I got takeout, took a while to get the food out. They may have been short staffed, not sure. Very friendly workers

I called to place I to go order and was told by a lady who never picked up that it would be an hour to an hour and 30 minutes before my to go order would be ready. I told her that was fine being I was at work.. I was in place on hold for more than 5 minutes. I hung up and decided I would place my order online. To my surprise it estimated my pickup time to only be 20 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant to discover that it was not packed whatsoever. I got my food which was the crispy shrimp platter along with artichoke and spinach dip for chips. The food was a little bit scarce, but all in all the shrimp and fries were delicious. I did not care for that artichoke and spinach dip and it went to waste. I would have told the manager about how horrible the person trying to take my over the phone order was and how I was estimated my food to be ready in one to one and a half hours, but I knew it would be no good to complain. I just don't understand how someone could lie like that to a customer trying to purchase food from the establishment. Especially since I was able to place the order online and the time it would be ready was well under an hour

Food was all very good. I had the Oriental Chicken Salad. It was very well prepared and had a lot of carrots and purple cabbage. The service was also quite good though there were a few items we ordered that did not arrive until we pointed out what we had ordered. There was also an incorrect salad served to us instead of a southwest bowl. I only took off one star because these were quickly corrected once we identified the issue. The wait staff was very friendly.

It was a horrible experience. My friends and I sat at a table in the bar area. We sat there for 25 minutes at least and nobody came to our table. People just kept walking by and looking at us but not stopping to get an order. I finally flagged a waitress down to get a manager. He came out of the kitchen,got our drinks and bought us an appetizer. The manager was very nice,the staff however are horrible. I will never go back and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone else

On Thursday February 24 , approximately 3pm. We were seated promptly. About ten minutes later our server took our order. I ordered a diet Mt.Dew and was served a diet Pepsi. Another ten minutes passed and we got our drinks and our order was taken. After over a half-hour our appetizers came, the in five minutes our food came. Then in another ten minutes our silverware came. Then I hailed my server for some steak sauce and to inform her that my steak was not properly cooked and I was very disappointed in the cut of my steak. She said ok, then about ten minutes later she came back and ask what is wrong with it! At this point I told her to take it away. I deeply regret that I came to Applebee's.

I love coming to this awesome place they were so helpful and smiling always It's one of my favorite places to go to get a amazing meal. I highly recommend this place to relax and enjoy yourself as they are making you feel so comfortable and the next day I went to work for door dash and then spent all the good money i had made the other night making longer deliveries and I was doing a study on the way you were making money for them and making the Americans think they were given you a 10 percent bonus in the gas but in my research I was confusing the driver in thinking about that 10 percent amount and taking our mind off the way we were always needed to get more gas and i didn't speed any money from the night before on myself and when they stopped scheduling me for hours i didn't make i had 13 dollars left from the 72 dollars i made from the other night and I filed up the car from my money so I can see how much the gas would be back from the full tank. Would anyone like to take a guess? The driver that guessed it i never heard say but I was praying that I wouldn't run out of gas on the way home. And earlier I was joking about how much I made in the 18 hours and I said 23 cents after I found 22 cents in the parking lot and I went in Thorntons i had to go to bathroom and it smells like the devil was just inside there it was the most foul smell I ever smell it was awful all the way through the store and the cashier looked like she wasn't real. Please don't take my word for it you are still smart enough to research things Please do someone

This was their 2nd chance and they failed miserably... Took 3 people to find silverware, and it was dirty. Took 2 more people to get my drink order. My steak finally came out...BURNT! I ordered medium. Waited around another 10 minutes for the check, and overheard another table asking for silverware. We are done here. Not returning.
