Captain Franks Hot Dogs

I love this restaurant, it gives a nice little touch to the community. It is the only hotdog joint around and they definitely make an amazing dog and fries. They recently updated their hours tell Christmas just to get a feel of how the customers will respond and I must say I love the new hours. Before it was almost impossible to go because they were always closed after I got off work, now this is no longer the case.

Captain Frank's features a number of different hot dog preparations. They also offer brats and Polish sausage if you prefer something a little bit larger. The service is good and is usually provided by the owner which does make a difference. My only small complaint is the price. The menu items are somewhat pricey for what you are getting. It's not a cheap meal but worth a stop if you are in the area.

Customer service is good, the place is clean. A little pricey, and for a nice grilled hotdog i would totally understand. I do not think microwaved hot dogs are worth the price when i can microwave my own. I think the place has potential, I just hope they get rid of the microwave and grill their hotdogs. I would be more than happy to pay the price they ask for if they did that.

Awesome Mom & Pop type restaurant. Great menu selection. Fair prices. Family atmosphere. There's tables with umbrellas outside to sit and enjoy the historic downtown view of Danville, Ky!! Restaurant is always clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Captain Frank's is open from 10:30am till 3:30pm. Delivery is available through Doordash!! I will certainly will return to eat their again. I highly recommend to everyone who wants to enjoy a laid back family atmosphere or anyone who is wanting to enjoy eating downtown. Plenty of seating inside and plenty of parking!! Restaurant is always cleaned.
