First time there today. Got the catfish dinner and some chicken wings. It was good for the most part. Kinda wish there was a bit more flavor in the batter or something, but it was cooked perfectly. Chicken wings, probably would have been outstanding, but I think they over cooked them just a tad. After reading all the reviews, and advice from a few friends that love it, I am definitely going to go back for one of the items off of the sandwich or gyro side of the menu, and stay away from the fried stuff.

Best fried okra and corn nuggets! My burger was good too. It would've been GREAT but, they put cheese on it even though I said not to. It was still good. I highly recommend this place! Awesome food!!

Cooked all my fish out of the fish. I didn’t ask for fried hard but it was fried to the crisp! It was more crust and crumbs than meat. $13 for a 3 or 4 piece perch and was only able to eat one piece that had meat.

The restaurant and surrounding areas were clean. The jalapeño popper we ordered came with perfect fried. The portions were adequate and delicious. Prices are reasonable.

Great food, fair prices. Only 4 tables, seating 2 per table. Really a carry out restaurant. My wife and I ate in, it was simple, clean and nice. Food came fast, hot and delicious. Will try the oysters next time, or maybe a gyro.

My friend and I were in Danville IL for a game and wasn't sure where we wanted to eat and we tried Firehouse and the food was amazing and filling for the price of it. So if you are in Danville IL give Firehouse Fish and Grill a try you won't regret it
