Review Mt Hermon Fish & Hibachi - Danville

WinterC0sm0s
At first glance this place is the same as the Fish & Hibachi it was before. The layout is only slightly changed and the portions are just as big and just as yummy. The biggest changes are the sushi and prices (which is expected). We got the spicy Californian roll and spicy chicken roll, so yummy! Definitely keeping this as a regular dinner spot.

Very disappointing. Food had absolutely no flavor. It was $119.00 for 4 dinners and 4 sodas ( out of sweet tea) Soup was barely warm and tasted like chicken fat. Three of the four dinners were left on the table barely touched. I took mine home since my children were treating me to dinner and felt guilty leaving it on the table. Waiter was nice enough, however never returned to see if we wanted more drinks or needed anything. We definitely will not go back and certainly will not be recommending it to anyone.

Best sushi I can find in this area! On par with some of the great sushi spots in LA. Worth!

I'm just a country boy from Virginia though I've been a little around the country from New York city to Fla via Memphis. I love Japanese food and I haven't had better. My favorite sushi roll is the hot dragon and entree steak Yakishoba. The lady that helped me , I believe her name was Charmaine was extra attentive as well. 5 stars

This is the worst strawberry tea We've ever! terrible!!!It's not made of milk, it's lumps! I took a sip and said to the nice waiter, can I change to something else, he said, I will asked the boss, and then come back said sorry ! Unfortunately, I can only ask him to throw it away for me, I spend 7bucks and couldn't drink it in one sip, because the taste is really disgusting, I will never come again!

So I will admit when I first seen the menu and the prices I was bummed bc it is a little on the pricey side in my opinion. But when they brought me my plate I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food you get. Definitely worth the price. It is probably the best Japanese/Hibachi place in Danville since Miyakos shut down. I have been craving their food and plan to return soon.

Their sushi is always fresh & delicious. Although Pedro is the lone waiter, he does a great job serving everyone.

Nothing to brag about. No sushi bar, soup was luke warm, zucchini cut up to small. BUT the white sauce was the best. Long wait. But they just opened gotta give some credit though.
