This is an outstanding place to get craft beer that you will definitely not find at your local grocery or liquor stores. If you're looking for mass produced AB InBev beers this is not the place for you.

Very nice and relax restaurant and bar for a lunch meal. I was looking for a fish and chips place and it didn't disappoint me. Ruben sandwich is also very tasty. Seems like a good place for a beer as well, I ordered one and it was also very good.

Servers were great. My hamburger was undercooked and I sent it back. When a new burger was brought out, it was undercooked again. The server took it off the check and gave us a free drink. Prices are reasonable, great selection of beers, but difficult to recommend the food. Overall, we will go back to The Growler.

It was great! I stopped by for happy hour, and had a beer and the sausage sampler with tots. The Bratwurst was absolutely delicious. The tots were perfectly crisp. The andouille was very flavorful but a little dry.

One of my favorite restaurants. Their burgers are a gourmet delight. My wife has an affection for their mac and cheese. The ambiance is pleasant and the staff are friendly. The only thing they are missing is Ted Danson behind the bar.

- Very good and attentive service, 5 starts easily!
- They have stouts and porters! Kudos for dark beers!
Cons:
- Food is kinda simple, nothing sophisticated, but good
- Not in Danville downtown center, a bit less lively than some competitors.

Quaint gastropub with lots of wooden decor giving it a rustic and cozy feel. There's seating both indoors as well as outdoors although during peak times I could see where it could get a little crowded. They have a good variety of solid craft beers from which to choose. I recently tried their Impossible Burger which was decent although the crowing jewel of my meal was the pesto fries. I'd go back for that alone.

Stopped in early evening yesterday to catch up with our favorite chef, Rachel. We started with the house made charcuterie plate which was out of this world awesome (we expected it would be but this was better than we remembered). We followed with the chicken wings and the lamb sliders which were equally excellent . Our server took good care of us and the whole place was friendly and welcoming.
Our beers included Berryessa Mar kley Pale, Redwood Curtain 200 Galaxies IPA and Henhouse Big Chicken DIPA. (17 more on the list from Berkeley to Maine). It's a long trip for us from Antioch but worth the drive.

This place is amazing. Great Beer Selection (hopefully rotating) great food,and great Atmosphere. Our Server Alec was beyond amazing and was probably the best server we have had. The only thing I wish you guys would improve on is the wine selection for my girlfriend so I can come here more as she doesn't drink beer and more food selections. Highly recommended and will definitely be back soon!
