Like the place and location, but staff it’s not very friendly .I recommend the habanero enchiladas, they are spicy but worth it.
Guacamole it’s wasn’t as expected.
Margaritas and micheladas are good

Decent, but not great Mexican food. Does the trick if nearby and craving Mexican food.

Nice place for family but it doesn’t have that many stores for shopping!

Horrible. Heed the 1 star reviews. They sat us off in a corner of the outside patio. Looks great from a distance. Up close, it is covered in goose, duck, and bird poop. All over the ground to the point I had health concerns for my 3 year old. Being seated at the goose poop table was the highlight of the meal.
Chips and salsa came quickly. After that, 30 minutes until someone took our drink order. Despite several servers making eye contact, none of them inquired as to how we were doing.
Finally ordered, and proceeded to wait longer. We got our food nearly an hour after we arrived.
It was underwhelming. Chevy's would be a far better choice than here.
Staff was friendly enough, just poorly trained and inattentive.
Save your money for better food, better service, and goose poop free dining.
Plenty of better options nearby. Never again for our family.

service is prompt and friendly, I didn't drink anything from the bar but I saw quite an array of Top shelf tequilas, so I don't doubt this is a good place to get hammered. As far as food goes, don't expect authentic flavors, this place is a very whitebread. But if you like your food lacking proper flavors you won't mind it.

We came here ere for Father’s Day since there was also a car show. First time here and we loved it. The Taco salad was great and I loved how it looked like a giant taco! Made for fun pics. Everyone liked what they had. Would like to go back again. We got seated fast and ate outside with the beautiful view of the pond and ducks. Loved it.

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday after a visit to the Blackhawk Museum. We requested a table outside and after the hostess checked for an open table, we were sat at a table that hadn't been wiped down from the previous guests (never a good sign, but not a deal breaker).
We sat for quite some time before our server came by and took our drink order. He seemed nice enough but it was like he was consistently in a rush (the restaurant had guests in it but not busy). The Bloody Mary I ordered was great. We also each got a cup of Tortilla Soup which was okay (one of which was brought out with soup spilled all over the outside of it and onto the saucer). We also ordered a plate of two cheese enchiladas with red sauce to split.
To be quite honest, the enchiladas looked and tasted like someone had stuck a block of (salty) cheese inside and rolled a tortilla around it and sort of warmed it up. For the first time in my life, I had to send food back and have it removed from the tab; which I did politely. The server promptly had it removed by his manager. No one ever offered us a menu for a replacement, so we paid the bill and left.
After having served in the restaurant industry for several years from casual family dining to high end steak house with bottle service, I really think the staff could use better training. Tables weren't being cleared or wiped down. There was a napkin on the ground that employees kept walking past and no one ever picked it up. The bar tender made a mean drink but she was dressed like she was spending the day at home. Maybe the enchiladas would have been better if they were hotter and the cheese melted? Maybe they sat in the window for a while?
Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience, just lots of little things that added up to a less than great experience. I just think that if you're going to have a beautiful restaurant on the water and charge higher end prices, that you should also be providing a higher end service.

I have been here maybe 5 or 6 times over the years. I know that it isn't very good, but my daughter and I were at the plaza for shopping, so we stopped in about a month ago. We ordered two Cadillac margaritas, and they were sickly sweet, and you could not even taste any tequila. Our waiter, who was very nice, suggested trying the Prickly Pear Margarita and a regular "house" one. We had a few sips, but basically they were the same....not good. This restaurant is in a high end plaza and being able to produce a decent margarita is not rocket science. Evidently though, it's too difficult for the managers of this place to nail down. As I said, our waiter was great, the carnitas weren't bad, the other food was mediocre, and the manager only charged us for two of the four drinks we didn't consume.
