Where do I begin!! My husband and I were on a road trip today to Boston and drove through Danbury and came across this GEM!! We were extremely hungry and confused and didn’t know what we wanted but we were helped and guided with so much care. Now onto the sandwiches! 🤗 I am a classic sandwich lover so I got the turkey grinder and it was PERFECT! From the soft fresh baked to the fresh ingredients, and the turkey was very flavorful and fresh as well. My husband got one steak sub and one buffalo chicken sub. He loved both but said the steak was his favorite. Great selection of chips and drinks, as well the perfect pickle to go with it. This place was the highlight of our road trip and if we’re ever back in town we will be SURE to come back!! Thanks again for the great experience!

So much greatness! Had to convince hubs to stop here and he was so glad we did! Win win! The Italian grinder was everything you want. Flavorful, hot, delicious bread with a crispy crust and soft interior - fresh toppings, what more could you want? I had the baked stuffed pastrami which was delicious, too. Top it off with the NY Cheesecake if you like sweets. Don't bother with the big pickles in the jar next to the counter, though. On top of everything else, Jimmy and Quyn, the owners are so pleasant and gracious. You feel extremely taken care of and not rushed. Check out this place I'd you haven't.

Large and clean sandwich shop. Mainly serves Italian style sub or grinder. My pulled pork sandwich is a tad too sweet, too much tomatoes and sugar.. Should have ordered the Italian sub combo instead. My wife liked her tuna sandwich all right. Nothing here tells me it is a special shop that you should stop to get lunch.... If you are in the vicinity, stop by. It is not a sub shop that you hop in a car and drive there when you want to eat a sub.

Giving 2 stars because it was a decent cold cut sub after I threw the microwaved chicken cutlet out the window. I specifically asked if the chicken cutlet was crispy and was told yes, instead I got a giant soft chicken nugget. Attitude of the lady who took care of us was meh, see a bunch of reviews about it and nothing has been changed so wondering what the deal is. If it weren't for the one smile that I received from the other lady the place would feel like a funeral home. Nice little ding of a bell and thank you though for the tip. Hoping others are better definitely not the deli I read about in CT papers though. Either way after all said and done, I had a full stomach on the ride home. Thanks

i grew up on nardelli’s and to this day i have yet to find a better grinder at a better value. moving from naugatuck to stamford was hardest because there is currently no nardelli’s locations in the area. while en route to some autumn fun, we stopped into the danbury location for our grinder fix, and were pleasantly startled by the spooky ambassadors you’ll see in the pics attached. so fun! do not pass up on an opportunity to have the best sandwich in CT, no matter which location you come across

Great food and great service! Food is fresh and portions are generous. I ordered 1/2 Italian Combo Grinder and had two lunches from it! Manager is reasonable and gracious, eager to please and make everything right. I'm never disappointed.

Thank you for delivering to our hotel tonight. We had a beautiful wedding celebration for our son and his bride earlier today at the Candlewood Inn. Nardellis was so great to deal with and Jimmy went out of his way to make our after party perfect. Thank you for everything!

The food was phenomenal. The Columbus River Dragons hockey team was well taken care of. We’ll be back next time we’re in Danbury!
