Nothing Bundt Cakes

The only reason I gave one star is bcs I had to to give my rating, I would have chosen 0 if I could.. I was referred here by a few co workers from work, who had purchased a cake for a past office party. So I decided to purchase these mini Bundt cakes for my 2 yr old son birthday party. I preordered online and went to pick up the following day. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a blank faced girl who acted as if my presence was bothering her and it killed her to assist me, she asked how can she help me, with the blankest face she had. I gave her my name and told her I was picking up an online order.. she then went to check on my order, seeing that it was 2 orders of mini cakes which are 22 bucks apiece she assumed that I wasn't the person named on the order who payed with my bank card, she then asked for my id and the form of payment I used before she can release the cakes I already had payed for. I told her that it was in my vehicle and that I didn't recall reading in the confirmation email that my id and form of payment would be required upon pick up. She then decided to tell me that she could not give me my purchase without confirmation that I am myself, the person named on the order. I then remembered that my card and id was not in the vehicle and in fact in my pocket! So I showed her my information, she began to look very silly and blank faced noticing that she had just PROFILED me based on the brown color of my skin, I mentioned to her that this was not listed that I had to bring a proof of I'd and payment upon the confirmation email, and that I feel that I'm being profiled the only reason I'm not asking for a refund is because the birthday party was the same day and I didn't have enough time to replace the cakes.. I felt so less than a human being after this not to mention I watched 3 white women walk in after me and pick up their online order and she didn't ask them for any forms of Id just a name and a exchange of their cakes.. I also would like to say that I would never order here again or even refer anyone here! They need bias training!! When I complained to another employee that was there the girl who didn't want to help in the first place just stood there with her arms folded looking at me all smugly with her frowned up face.. very uncomfortable way to have to spend your own money!! these people do not appreciate colored peoples business.. and they are too comfortable letting us know this WHILE at work!! This has to change!!!

I'm one of the many people who've been priced out of Daly City, and one of the things I miss most is Arizmendi Bakery. I was so happy to go back again on a recent trip into the city! My very favorite is the cherry corn scones, but the brioche knots, the pecan rolls, the other scones, the pizza... it's all good.

It was Valentine's Day so I decided to walk around the mall and stumbled across this small hidden Bakery. It was really hard to see the bakery sign because of the trees that were blocking the store. I hope to put this little bakery shop on the map so others can appreciate it. There's free parking above the store you'll have to enter the side of the large structure , this is a four level garage and did I mention FREE...... Not very full I'm pretty sure nobody knows about this place either. The cakes are really good and different sizes to choose from as well as flavors very nice helper at the front desk as well. Next door is WING STOP kill two birds with one stone, enjoy.

I had a wonderful experience here at Nothing Bundt Cakes! I was actually referred here by a close friend of mine when I was having some serious cake cravings, and decided to try it out while my boyfriend was in the nearby Home Depot. The atmosphere is sweet and inviting, and the little bundtlets are so cute! I ordered the Pecan Praline flavor and it was the softest cake I have ever had. It was so fluffy and moist and the cream cheese frosting was the perfect sweetness. I don't like my icing too sweet so this was perfect! The employees are nice and friendly and signed me up for an email list (free bundtlet on my birthday yes please!) Highly recommend to anyone!
