Review Ihop Dalton Ga - Dalton

This place is more for southern comfort it feels like. The food is usually great but the service is very slow and they don't usually pay enough attention to who comes in so you have to wait a while to be seated even when someone is available. One of the best breakfast locations and great breakfast foods but their pace is slow and they act in a rush constantly.

Food so cold the butter on my waffle wouldn't even melt. My wife's food was cold too. I have 3 girls. 2 or which are younger. I believe we were set off in a secluded section on purpose to not annoy anyone else, and essentially was forgotten about.

Our food was COLD and even had to send our toast back it was HARD AS A ROCK!!! Manager offer nothing but excuses 🤨!!! Could have at least offered a discount of some sort??? Also while waiting for our food we could see in the back, the employees were putting on sunglasses and dancing around. So there's no telling how LONG OUR FOOD SAT READY BEFORE IT WAS BROUGHT TO OUR TABLE??? NOT HAPPY!!!

Y'all are letting this place down!. I had a bad experience. Once I arrived they took about 20 minutes to get seated and the restaurant was pretty vacant. Right as we were seated we have been waiting there for an additional 30 minutes without any drinks. Another 0air left the place because they were never attended but we kept on waiting. After we ordered our food they took about an hour to make it and once it arrived the order was wrong as well with the drinks! Only reason its I leave a 1 star is because the food was alright but not work waiting 2 HOURS!

Food was good. Our server was great. Management was abously lacking. There were over 25 empty tables, but the lobby was full of people waiting to be seated. With all of these empty tables, there was no need to seat another party right next to us. Business was lost because people got up and left.

They was short handed but the employees that they had was great at their jobs. The food was delicious and made to order. The coffee was fresh and never ran out. A great place to eat

Waitress was polite. Food was good. But they are under staffed and the wait for a table and the food prep times are long. Not recommended if you want a quick meal.

I usually love ihop but this visit wasn't a good exp. My waitress was great especially with it just being her as the only waitress plus the manager. Maybe next go round will be better.

We were out late with a party of friends and someone suggested we eat here. It had been years since I've been at an Ihop. This place was a mess, and there was an old sour smell that about turned my stomach. Still we powered through. I had a bacon sandwich with onion rings. My food was decent, but the prices just aren't worth it.  Service was not too bad, but should have been better considering we were the only ones in there. I hate the interior of this chain. While I was there, I began to remember why I hadn't been to one in years......

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had eating out. My friends and I were searching for a place that was open on Christmas day to eat at. IHOP was the only one other than a burger joint. It was slow there, naturally, less than half full. We only had a party of 8. It took 5 minutes for them to pull 2 tables together. 10 to get drinks and he got one of our drinks wrong. Coke instead of coffee. She had to wait another 10 just for her drink. And he completely neglected to get us our straws. The food took an entire hour to come out even after asking our waiter once and a manager a second time and when it did half of it was incorrect or cold. When we told Dayton(our waiter)that the service was really slow and could have been better. He didn't say sorry. He asked us "Well, what did you expect?" making the excuse that it was busy since it is Christmas day. Then he said "Well you know, you have bad service good service. Good customers bad customers." And walked off. So all and all. The food was crap. Dayton was a rude jerk. And it took forever to even get straws to drink with let alone some half-*** food. I will never go back there again. I hope Dayton gets fired. I have never been treated so rudely by a server in my life.

I agree, gas station has better food

Yuck. I recommend that you avoid this place, even if you are famished. Go to a gas station and get a bag of chips. The food is bland and the service if horrendous.
