I absolutely love this place. The fish is fresh, the size of the orders are generous. The order comes with fries or baked potatoes, hush puppies and coleslaw. I hadn't had fried clams in years and when I saw them on the menu I had to order them. They were cooked to perfection! The food is always cooked consistently as well. Very affordable prices.
The food was hot and delicious. Honestly we used to go here almost weekly we heard bad reviews after new ownership so we didn’t go for several months. Decided to give them a try again and the food was phenomenal. The curbside service is always great. If you haven’t tried them recently I beg you to give them a try.
I took food to shut-ins and asked for it to be packaged over a couple days-they did an OUTSTANDING job of packaging!! Shut-in friends said best food they have eaten in a very long time. Everything cooked to perfection and hush puppy’s and catfish best they have eaten! Shrimp was very good also. They haven’t had a chance to try the other food yet. I ordered online and picked up and will be definitely be stopping here again!!
We had a wonderful lunch here today, outside with the bench and small tables worked well. The flounder was outstanding!! The salt and pepper catfish filets were even better. Huge portions! Very efficient and friendly staff. If you are in Dallas, or nearby, you should check them out!!
I REALLY wish you could still sit down and eat, but they do a great job about keeping your food from getting soggy. Fried fish is put in the old cardboard plates and not the Styrofoam to go plates so it doesn't sweat and get all gross....if you order hamburger steak, they put it in the Styrofoam, but they also put a piece of foil over it to keep the sweat from drowning the food on the bottom....this is BY FAR one of my favorite places to eat when I travel to NC!!! PLUS, the amount of food you get is CRAZY! Definitely enough to feed 2 people with a combo platter!
