Alounak - Dallas - Photo album

This place has the best food for the money. I may seem small but this is honestly one of the best persian places ever. The owner is wonderful and his food is amazing. He makes sure you are fully satisfied. Please spread the word about this place. He deserves to be packed everyday. I love his lamb sh
Great food and wonderful home made taste. Wonderful kebabs, particularly the Barg is very tender, and other authentic eats including Ghorme Sabzi accompanied by warm, fresh bread coming from the oven or an appetizer of delicious home made soup; service can be aloof and don't expect a luxury atmosph
I don't normally eat out at mediterranean restaurants but this place was pretty decent. The steak shish kabobs were really good, however I didn't like the "on the house" soup appetizer that was served.
Pretty much everything is good about this place, except the owner shows up with inappropriate clothes and constantly talks and questions the customers about their personal life. Other than that, worth a try! The food is amazing!
This place is great. We've gone to Giovanni's, Shandiz, Kasra, and Sahara... This place beats them all! The service is great and the owner makes sure you get the greatest experience possible. We had Kubideh and Ghorme Sabzi and they were both great. Will definitely be coming back soon!
I like this place and I am sad why I did not know it earlier since I am leaving Dallas by end of May. The quality of the food is very good and it is exactly what it should be as a Persian meal. The only thing is that when you are more than 10 you should let the owner know so he can prepare the food
We were there on 4/17/13. Food was excellent. The lamb and beef kabobs were both outstanding. And it is BYOB.
The food quality is amazing and the attention of the proprietor to the guests is outstanding. It is a great value. Highly recommended...
