Not from the area, ordered delivery. I love gumbo & know good gumbo when I eat it but this gumbo wasn't the best. It wasn't really bad but it was too spicy. My chicken tenders look hard and over cooked.
Flavor for day, any kinda spice you can handle.....I'll be back this food was too good, and the kool-aid was on point.
Down home gumbo is great. A must purchase. Purchased the seafood boil and it was cooked to perfection. Please try them out. They also offer curbside pick up.
No customers there when we pulled up but my dad had hankering for seafood gumbo. No seafood gumbo, but gumbo and my dad liked it. You either order a cup or a pint. Dad wanted a pint and came to $10.81 with tax. He said it was good. I asked him if he would go back and he said yes.
Hands down one of the best Cajun spots outside of Louisiana, with roots and recipes direct from the boot!!! If you want southern comfort food and friendly staff and amazing environment come to Mickle Cajun Kitchen, guaranteed you’ll leave satisfied.
The food was over seasoned with Seasoning Salt. No real favor. Shrimp were cleaned and de- veined. But had no real flavor...like water. Never had a boil like this. Tried! Never will again
