I went in for the burgers, which were excellent but I keep coming back for Brooklyn cuz she's cool.

Stopped by for drinks with some friends and some karaoke. The waitress was attentive and helpful, and a good time was had by all. The place was generally clean if a bit run down. Had to switch chairs twice to find one that didn't lean forward, and the one I finally did sit comfortably on was a little raggedy.

Pretty solid dive bar. Cheap strong drinks. Fried food. Huge dart area. They have poker tournaments and a pool table. And staff is friendly for the most part. Like I said it's a dive bar. So don't expect a lot. No DJ's, dancing, or anything like that.

Went here the other day with a buddy. We were traveling for work and looking for something decent and not all that expensive. That is exactly what we got. I think I had a burger and 2 big beers for under 20. Food was good. They aren't trying to do anything fancy just a well made basic burger. Just a heads up this is a very divey establishment.

Inexpensive drinks and Maddie is a great bartender! Customers there are very friendly. I had a great time there. Check out karaoke every Saturday night at 9 p.m. with Robert O.

A dive bar with soul and sass. The bartenders here make this otherwise unassuming place more than palatable. Good prices on food and drinks. Brooklyn is my soul mate and Maddie makes the best burgers in town.

You MAY think it's basic from the sign, and I'm here to tell you that what you see on the outside is EXACTLY what you get. You can definitely judge a book by it's cover!
First, you park outside and see the typical 60 something year old man drinking and smoking, and he's got stories to tell I'm sure. This guy has lived. It kind of smells bad on the patio, a nice aroma of cigarettes, oil, and other things that would be SO successful as a candle scent. The chairs out there are metal and uncomfortable, but what, you want a LA Z Boy?!?
Inside, there are some gambling machines, some old carpet, a few torn up chairs, a beat up bar, and everyone there are regulars. Definitely didn't fit in with the crowd here.
They had a poker game going on, which was a $20 buy-in and you get to play some, so I figured, "what the hey" and went for it. The guy who runs the poker game wins... every time. And people lose a LOT more money than just $20. Kinda fun to watch the regulars lose money, because they probably lose money every week, but not for someone who wants to enjoy their time!
You want a summary, you say? Well here ya go. The drinks are overpriced and weak, the bartender pays attention to the regulars and no one else, you won't be welcomed or feel accepted, and you'll probably lose money if you play poker or any of the other illegal gambling that goes on there.
Not sure why places like this exist.

Man, a friend and I went in here on a whim one night because it was a close walk to the apartment. We had cheap drinks, great service, and one of the best hamburgers I have eaten in my entire life. Unfortunately, it has been a few months since then. I call or stop in a few times a week to try to catch one of those burgers again. Seems like the cook never comes in. Chesterfield, if you served burgers on a regular basis, I would be spending money there 3 or more times a week,
